Aircraft Structures Mechanic

Location: Broomfield, Colorado
Employment Type: Long-term contract with direct-hire potential

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Structures Technicians to join the team in Broomfield, Colorado.

This is hands-on, high-impact work. You’ll perform complex fabrication and mechanical installations on Pilatus aircraft platforms. You’ll follow strict FAA and SRM guidelines. And you’ll do it alongside a team that values precision, safety, and craftsmanship.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal and structural assemblies using SRMs and engineering drawings
• Interpret technical manuals and blueprints to plan and execute accurate structural modifications
• Locate components using station, butt-line, and waterline references
• Accurately complete work order entries and technical documentation
• Ensure all work complies with FAA, FOCA, and internal quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pay Range: $33–$39/hr DOE
• 3 to 5 years of structural experience on PC-12, PC-24, or similar airframes
• FAA Airframe License required
• A&P License preferred
• Strong working knowledge of aluminum part painting and corrosion prevention
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and wiring diagrams
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and working in tight spaces
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must meet ITAR “U.S. person” requirements (22 CFR 120.62)
