STS Technical Services is hiring an Associate Planning Coordinator to support cross-functional planning efforts for a major manufacturing client in Danbury, Connecticut. This is a three-month temporary role with the possibility to extend through the end of the year. If you’re detail-oriented, highly organized, and looking to gain hands-on experience in planning and coordination, we encourage you to apply.

Position Summary

As an Associate Planning Coordinator, you will help ensure the timely execution of operational plans across multiple departments. You’ll work closely with planners, buyers, and program teams to track data, support schedule alignment, and maintain accurate documentation using MRP/ERP systems. This is a strong entry-to-early-career opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to assist with planning and replenishment
  • Generate and maintain schedules, planning reports, and documentation
  • Use MRP/ERP systems to enter and track planning data accurately and on time
  • Support cross-department communication to ensure plans are executed effectively
  • Assist in preparing KPIs and performance metrics for internal reporting
  • Create documentation for material delivery planning and supply chain monitoring
  • Generate purchase requisitions based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Produce reports for internal stakeholders and customer visits
  • Flag critical part shortages or planning issues that may impact operations

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
