CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

STS Technical Services is hiring experienced CNC Machinists to join our client’s growing team in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This is a second-shift opportunity offering a 6.65% shift premium and a paid lunch. Position Overview

The CNC Machinist will perform setup, operation, and programming of complex machined components for a wide range of industries. This position is ideal for machinists who take pride in precision work and thrive in a clean, safe, and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up all repeat jobs that are fully documented
• Run first-piece components to print specifications
• Program CNC machines and make edits as needed
• Manually inspect parts according to inspection sheet criteria
• Read and interpret blueprints and correlate data with inspection documentation
• Apply knowledge of GD&T tolerances
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously as part of a production cell
• Apply advanced shop math, including trigonometry and geometry
• Mentor and train operators as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; CNC technical diploma preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of machining experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Solid math skills and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
