Heavy Equipment Mechanic

STS Technical Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Bradley Modification Team in Ft. Riley, Kansas. This role requires expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying military equipment, specifically the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on power plants, engine fuel systems, air induction systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, engine starting and charging systems, and track electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues associated with military equipment.
• Install modifications and retrofits on platforms including M2A3 and M3A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles.
• Independently resolve technical issues and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Prior military experience in MOS 91M or 91A is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in military equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Possess a Secret Clearance or Interim Secret clearance.
