Avionics Technicians

STS Technical Services is hiring Avionics Technicians in Ozark, Alabama.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Be familiar with all hand tools applicable for the tasks
• Fabricate wiring harnesses Installation of wiring harnesses
• Termination of wiring harnesses
• Clamping of wiring harnesses
• Able to use a multimeter
• Assist with operational testing of avionics systems
• Troubleshoot systems as required
• Approximately 2 or more years of general aviation experience related to position duties.
• FAA A&P or A certificate would be a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Required Skills:

• Positive attitude Works well in the team environment
• Can handle a high tempo high stress environment
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary
• Must work as a team member to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet schedule.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to duration of shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
