Position Overview:

Looking to join an established company with the potential to grow your career?  Then you have come to the right spot! We are looking for motivated team members with a growth mindset and electrical engineering product development experience with the following:

  • Electrical Systems Engineering
  • Experience with EE architectures and automotive communication networks
  • Experience with automotive electronic modules and software
  • Experience leading technical teams

How You Can Make A Difference:

  • Provide advanced technical leadership in high level specialty research and development in accordance with engineering standards and project scope. This position is a non-supervisory, technical role.
  • Participate in the budgeting process to include recommending capital improvements and preparing justification data as required
  • Researches, studies, and proposes use of new technologies to be used in the development of new and improved products
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues
  • Communicate project objectives to team members
  • Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures
  • Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
  • Create and maintain project documentation for analysis, research, and historical records
  • Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements
  • Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Oshkosh Way.
  • Conduct duties consistent with the Company’s mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures
  • Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support
  • Provide guidance to team members to ensure the appropriate engineering analysis is performed and documented
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations
  • Able to obtain a secret security clearance as required by job duties

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s of Science, Electrical Engineering Degree
  • 10-plus years related experience

Qualifications We’d Love For You To Have:

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Extensive knowledge of CAE tools and advanced engineering tactics
  • PMP certification
  • Possess a strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles and related systems
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Experience and active participation in relevant professional organizations (SAE, IEEE, etc.
  • Demonstrated effective performance in an engineering leadership role, developing innovative
  • Products utilizing state of the art engineering tools and processes.
