STS Technical Services is hiring Customer Center Attendants in Melbourne, Florida.

Position Overview:

The Customer Center Attendant is responsible for the meal service presentation provided at the Customer Center and for events supported by the Concierge team. This Employee is expected to be respectful, discreet, friendly and very organized.

The Customer Center Attendant’s position requires pro-activity, orientation to detail, attention to social queues, and good people skills that helps them anticipate the Customer needs and provide them with a great Experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Buffet Service:

  • Set up meeting rooms for buffet-style lunches with China, silverware, glasses, utensils and disposables
  • Re-plate some meals that come from the caterers in to company platers
  • Serve Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks to the designated meeting rooms
  • Clear the meal service, reset the area with dishes
  • Load the dishwashers and hand wash delicate items
  • Polish and ensure all dishes are spotless; Put clean dishes away
  • Abide by food safety standards to ensure the safety of our Customers

Plated Dining Services:

  • Set up the dining room for the plated service
  • Serve meals and take drink orders
  • Clear and reset the room once service is concluded
  • Load the dishwashers and hand wash delicate items
  • Polish and ensure all dishes are spotless; Put clean dishes away
  • Abide by food safety standards to ensure the safety of our Customers

Stock:

  • Restock supplies in all meeting rooms
    • Mini fridges
    • Coffee carts
    • Buffet credenzas
    • Etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining the kitchens and stock areas organized and clean
  • Responsible for checking/keeping track of expiration dates of supplies
  • Nicely arrange snack basket for Customer meetings

Organization and cleanliness:

  • Responsible for maintaining the kitchens clean and organized
  • Quarterly deeper cleaning (or as needed) of the ovens, coffee pots, descale coffee machines, microwaves, Fridges, coffee makers, and so on
  • Responsible for keeping track of the dishes, crystals, flatware and supplies and notify lead and supervisor of any broken/missing/damaged items so we purchase replacements
  • Ensure that dishes are clean when set up for Customer use

Notes:

  • Due to the nature of the work, you may be required to stay on your feet for long periods of time
  • Embraer will provide the uniform
  • Other Duties may be assigned
  • Professional personal presentation and personal hygiene are required

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Degree completed
  • Valid Food Handling Certificates (or similar) are required
  • Restaurant or Hospitality related certificates preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in the restaurant and/or hospitality industry;
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Basic knowledge MS Office applications
  • International/Intercultural experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to calmly work under pressure while maintaining professional demeanor
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and resourceful in a customer focused environment
  • Ability to anticipate Customers and guests needs
  • Bilingual language skills preferred but not required

Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations
  • Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
  • Professional appearance and demeanor to support business needs
  • Formal and Business Casual attire required; uniform would be provided
  • Availability for both traditional and nontraditional business hours
