STS Technical Services is hiring Enterprise Architect Managers in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Position Overview:

The Enterprise Architect Manager is a key role within the management team and is responsible for development and execution of the overall Enterprise Information Technology Strategy enable the integration of Model Based System Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Logistic Management tools into a seamless business wide architecture to enable world class product development and deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with key function managers develop the overall Enterprise Information Technology (EITS) to enable the digital development and sustainment of new products.
  • Develop the overall architecture for the IT infrastructure to include hardware and software tools and applications and the support the development of process that enable the architecture to achieve  business goals.
  • Develop and maintain overall Project Plan, develop and manage project budget, and provide status of progress to plan.
  • Manage internal personnel and external suppliers and vendors in the deployment of hardware, software, and processes to execute the EITS.
  • Ensure hardware and software tools protect intellectual property and data and employ all relevant IT security protocols and are fully compliant to applicable policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop plans and processes that fully support key functional stakeholders within company to ensure the deployed architecture fully supports Digital Engineering, Product Life Cycle Management, Enterprise Resource Management and Logistic Information goals, needs, and requirements.
  • Develop in coordination with key stakeholders statements of works, assess subcontractor bids, and ensure the proper management of venders and subcontractors to achieve goals on time and within budget.
  • Support the development of proposals to include writing key proposal sections and development of cost estimates.
  • Utilize Project Management tools and processes in the execution of managing EITS projects.
  • Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations & policies
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Occasional travel to Europe may be required
  • Undertake other duties as determined by the Managing Director or his/her delegate

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • BSc in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology)
  • Masters of Business Administration or Information Technology

Experience:

  • 10-15 years experience in developing and deploying complex Information Technology architecture, tools, and processes to support Product Development and Sustainment of complex platforms.
  • Domain expertise in the designing and deploying seamless information systems to support Business goals.
  • Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Knowledge of CAx (i.e. PTC Creo) software.
  • Knowledge of Digital Engineering products such as DOORs, Magic Draw.
  • Experience in deploying Cloud based IT solutions.
  • Proven experience to innovate and seek novel solutions to complex IT projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and communicate and gin support for complex projects.

  • Proven ability to learn and understand complex processes such as new product development and develop the strategy and architecture to deploy tools that facilitate success.
  • Self-starter able to work in a challenging environment in a collaborative environment with key stakeholders to develop novel approaches to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to manage complex IT integration projects
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in a variety of settings and be able to assimilate complex instructions easily.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff to establish productive relationships.
  • Superior consultation, diplomacy, influencing and negotiating skills is required.
  • Must possess the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that makes sense to someone less knowledgeable about the topic.
