Field Service Representatives

STS Technical Services is hiring Field Service Representatives in Temple, Texas.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Representative/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The primary focus of this position is to perform maintenance on various platforms of military tracked vehicles, with a primary emphasis on the Bradley fighting vehicle. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining power plants, engine fuel systems, air induction systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, engine starting and charging systems, track electrical and hydraulic systems. Additionally, the role requires the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues associated with military equipment and install modifications and retrofits to platforms, including M7A3, M2A3, M2A4, M7A4, and other similar platforms. Basic knowledge of hand, power, and pneumatic tools is essential.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in military maintenance
• Knowledge and experience working in military maintenance MOS’s preferred
• 1-2 years of experience with MWO modifications
• Ability to perform maintenance on power plants, engine fuel systems, air induction systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, engine starting and charging systems, track electrical and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues associated with military equipment
• Ability to install modifications and retrofits to platforms, including M7A3, M2A3, M2A4, M7A4, and other similar platforms
• Basic knowledge of hand, power, and pneumatic tools

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues
• Demonstrated discretion and independent judgment
• Capacity to function with minimal supervision

Education Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
