Position Summary:

Looking to join an established company with the potential to grow your career? Then you have come to the right spot! We are looking for motivated team members with a growth mindset and a background in manufacturing engineering and automation.

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for all detailed processes in connection with manufacturing, routings, time studies, and N/C programs. You’ll review new releases for design and manufacturing and assist with recommendations for new equipment and tooling.

This role will require a qualified candidate to work in our Shippensburg, PA facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development of timely and accurate N/C programs to aid in efficiency in production.
  • Analyze processes to find possible problems or needed improvements.
  • Collaborate with production and other teams by attending scheduled meetings to ensure timely improvements on processes.
  • Assist with recommendations for new equipment and tooling.
  • Write assembly work processes and man assignment procedures.
  • Review and select required special tooling and equipment.
  • Process documentation and control of prototype assembly issues.
  • Assist in plant layout and workstation design.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Internship experience or 6-plus months related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean/Six Sigma understanding or certification.
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering degree.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, Time Study.
  • Lean manufacturing base in 5S.
  • PLC/HMI/Allen Bradley knowledge/troubleshooting.
  • SCADA knowledge.
