STS Technical Services is hiring Manufacturing Technicians in Dallas, Texas.

Summary of Role:

  • The successful candidate will work in a Class 100 semiconductor wafer fab, as a manufacturing technician.
  • The candidate will be asked to operate tools within the FPAD Clean Room manufacturing area.
  • Candidate must be flexible and able to perform a wide variety of processes utilizing metrology tools, including: Leica, DDR, FTIR, Nanospec, Height gauge, etc.
  • May be asked to assist with end of the line processes as time permits.

Basic Qualification & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Microscope experience is required.
  • Computer literacy and mechanical inclination
  • Comfortable around chemicals and solvents
  • Must be able to work in a wafer fab environment and wear a full cover hood, smock, safety glasses, gloves, and required shoes

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Leica & DDR measurement and imaging systems
  • Experience with FTIR
  • Analytical Skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate both Leica and DDR systems to take imaging and measurements from various materials
  • Operate FTIR & Nanospec measurement tools.
  • Must be comfortable with routine use of a microscope – over 50% of the time
  • Must have excellent piece part handling skills – handling sensitive materials manually, with a gloved hand
  • May be required to use a solvent spray hood for cleaning; Load / Unload Ovens with piece parts.
  • Will conduct Material pull when necessary.
  • Responsibility to include throughput and quality of these operations
  • Interprets Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions
  • Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule, within budget and to SPC standard practices.
  • Recognize, communicate, and respond to process deviations and help identify root cause and corrective actions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting – 10 lbs
  • Standing 70%

Work Conditions:

  • Flexibility in schedule to work Overtime when needed.
  • Must be able to work in a wafer fab environment and wear a full cover hood, smock, safety glasses, gloves, and required shoes
