STS Technical Services is hiring Operations Managers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The specific duties of the 2nd shift Operations Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Set productivity goals for each team and monitor KPIs
- Motivate, support and provide guidance to site staff
- Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service
- Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
- 6-8 years of proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
