Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of sophisticated electronic products supporting both defense and commercial applications. This is a CONTRACT position that is available immediately.

Job Summary:

The Recruiter is responsible for the full-life cycle recruiting to include posting positions, applicant flow, creative sourcing, pre-screening candidates, interviewing and selection, offer process and candidate management. Assist in the development of innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent. Leads recruitment and selection processes that are legally compliant and cost effective while meeting established metrics. Maintains accurate records and reports on all phases of the recruitment process.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develops and builds relationships with hiring managers in order to better understand their business and the roles with the organization
  • Works directly with hiring managers to ensure understanding of job specifications and desired qualifications for each position
  • Develop successful recruiting strategies to fill positions in an efficient and timely manner
  • Work with hiring managers to generate compelling job postings and refresh/update those postings as required
  • Manage resume screening and candidate interview process in conjunction with hiring managers
  • Serves as an advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process on matters such as interviewing techniques, selection protocols, offer management, etc.
  • Partners with HR team to ensure organization’s talent goals are met including internal, external, diversity and early career hiring
  • Develops and executes innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent for the Company
  • Maintains accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System and may produce reports on all phases of the recruitment process
  • Participates in job fairs and college recruiting to source potential candidates and promote industry awareness
  • Leads recruitment and selection processes that are legally compliant and costs effective while meeting established metrics such as cost per hire, time to fill, etc.
  • Manages the candidate experience so that candidates have a positive impression of the recruitment process including, providing status updates, scheduling interviews, making travel arrangements, etc.
  • Conducts reference and background checks and may initiate job offers
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 2+ year’s experience in Human Resources preferably in recruitment
  • Proven knowledge of state, federal and EEO regulations regarding hiring practices is required
  • Exposure to behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Experience in sourcing candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • US Citizenship Required

Skills We’d Love For You To Have:

  • Experience working in a technical field and/or recruiting engineering, operations, and technical talent
  • Advanced skill and experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems for tracking and reporting
  • Proven knowledge of state, federal and EEO regulations regarding hiring practices is required
  • Highly developed knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively source candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
