STS Technical Services is hiring Verification Engineers in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Job Duties:

  • The major responsibilities of the position include designing planning organizing and authoring verification test cases for Engineering projects and delivering these projects in a manner that meets to a high degree the quality cost and timing expectations of all stakeholders.
  • This job will include coordinating with the activities of support staff assigned to projects.
  • There will be extensive interaction with OE engineering staff to achieve results.
  • Run test cases on bench and on vehicle using breakout boxes Vector CANalyzer and CANoe CAPL scripting and electrical measurement tools as needed. bull Create test reports to summarize test findings and to satisfy reporting requirements of various processes including ISO-26262.
  • Create bug reports and provide information on issue recreation to support issue resolution.
  • Work extensively with CAN analog and digital based control systems.
  • Provide manual test support for advanced controls development and testing.
  • Support automation of test cases by providing detailed test sequence information to Hardware-in-the-Loop HiL team and by reviewing results to confirm correct HiL test case execution.
  • Utilize third-party software tools to log and share data with other teams within H-D.
  • Develop and implement custom test functions sequences and test setups using breakout boxes Vector CANalyzer and CANoe CAPL scripting and software prototyping tools as needed.
  • Responsible for maintenance and upgrades of manual test equipment and harnesses.
  • Deliver new test capabilities for manual testing to expand test case coverage
  • Review requirements at the vehicle system and component levels.
  • Work with component owners and design engineers to define develop and execute vehicle and BoaB tests for H-D electronic control units ECUs.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Software Engineering Systems Engineering or a related technical field or is licensed to practice engineering by a recognized regulatory agency PE.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience with Vector CAN tools CANalyzer CANoe CANape
  • Familiarity with vehicle communications protocols CAN LIN UDS CCP.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering calculations engineering analysis requirements theory validation and verification planning and test case creation.
  • Motorcycle or automotive/vehicle experience is preferred.
  • Experience with requirements management database with a minimum of 2000 hours of use is preferred.
  • Helix ALM knowledge is a bonus
