Logistics Operative

STS Aviation Services is rapidly expanding and looking for a Logistics Operative to join our materials and logistics department in Newquay, United Kingdom. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the UK’s leading MRO provider. As a Logistics Operative, you will be responsible for receiving, moving, and managing materials within our busy hangar facility.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure all material receiving and distribution is conducted according to procedures.
• Manage tools and components, ensuring they are stored and batched in approved areas.
• Coordinate the movement of materials within the facility and manage store activities.
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements and storage conditions.
• Provide logistics support for urgent and high-priority needs.
• Ensure all tools are calibrated and in good working condition.
• Prepare parts and consumables for the shop floor in an organized manner.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a logistics environment.
• Proficient in standard logistics software.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
