Position Overview:

STS Aviation Services is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated Logistics Operative to join our night shift team at our Birmingham hangar facility. Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Ensure all material receiving and distribution processes are carried out according to relevant procedures.
• Tool & Component Management: Manage and batch tools and components used in the hangar, ensuring they are stored in approved locations.
• Logistics Coordination: Arrange for the efficient movement of materials from receiving to various company locations, and coordinate stores activities.
• Compliance & Safety: Perform all duties in line with regulatory requirements, including maintaining general housekeeping, safety protocols, and storage conditions.
• Urgent Support: Provide logistics support for urgent and high-priority needs, and assist the Logistics Manager and Leads in additional tasks as required.
• Tool Maintenance: Ensure all tools are kept calibrated, in good working condition, and ready for use.
• Preparation: Prepare parts and consumables for the shop floor in a coordinated and organized manner.

Skills and Experience:

• Logistics Experience: Previous experience working in a logistics environment is required.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in standard logistics software.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organization: Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Eligibility: Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
