Senior Quality Managers

STS Technical Services is hiring Senior Quality Managers in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Quality Assurance Systems team, the Senior Quality Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the SPC program for Oshkosh Defense. The Senior Quality Manager will work closely with internal and external customers to develop and continuously improve quality processes and systems and develop and deploy strategic plans.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement SPC tools and techniques across Oshkosh Defense products and processes:
• Statistical Analysis (MSA, GR&R, Process Capability, Process Behavior Control Charting)
• Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Develop training and support implementation of SPC in a manufacturing environment
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical consumers
• Work as a member in the Corrective Action Board (CAB)
• Work as a member of customer issue prevention teams
• Lead strategic initiatives for the corporation
• Lead and develop quality management teams
• Develop/implement/improve/sustain QMS
• Lead/facilitate VIP customer interactions
• Implement quality standards
• Develop quality programs
• Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with our customers and supplier base
• Willingness to accept and delegate authority
• Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
• Must exhibit the ability to proactively plan and execute plans in accordance with established time constraints
• Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/educational courses as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Business, Operations Management, or related field
• 7 plus years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in policy writing
• Experience working with MiniTab and Splunk
• Knowledgeable in Problem Solving Methods
• Knowledgeable in DFMEA/PFD/PFMEA/CPLAN
• Knowledgeable in six sigma principles
