Western Regional Sales Manager - Remote Position STS Technical Services

STS Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Western Regional Sales Manager to oversee and coordinate the growth and development of our client’s Western Region dealers and assigned Regional Fleet and Direct Fleet accounts. This fully remote role focuses on increasing unit volume, ensuring product support, and achieving aftermarket parts excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership within the assigned region, managing all dealers and assigned Regional and Direct Fleet Accounts.
  • Increase unit sales within the region and drive continuous improvement in dealer quality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Product Support and Parts groups to ensure aftermarket Product Support and Parts excellence throughout the region.
  • Conduct sales training sessions with dealer sales staff.
  • Work with senior dealer managers and principals to strategically grow business at each dealership.
  • Develop strategic objectives with each dealer, including Annual Business Plans and Dealer Performance Evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and continued development within the assigned region and the commercial team.
  • Schedule and conduct routine meetings and sales calls (virtual and in-person) with dealers and Regional and Direct Fleets within the region.
  • Collaborate with commercial sales leadership to develop territory strategies and meet sales objectives.
  • Maintain key account information and activity using CRM (Salesforce).
  • Stay informed on market trends, competition, and best practices in sales techniques and strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a high degree of comfort with information technology.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the company’s products and services, as well as those of immediate competitors in the market.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; OR
  • Extensive experience in heavy equipment or truck equipment sales.

Location and Physical Requirements:

  • This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located in a major market within the territory.
  • Regular travel within the territory (Texas and west) is required.
