STS Technical Services is hiring for Operations: Contractor Travel Support (Remote). This full-time, hourly role supports the Operations department by coordinating contractor travel, maintaining accurate documentation and helping ensure client and program requirements are met.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented operations professional with strong communication skills, travel coordination experience and the ability to support contractors, clients, vendors and internal teams in a fast-paced remote work environment.
Position Summary
The Operations: Contractor Travel Support (Remote) role provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to contract employees, clients and staff. This position coordinates travel logistics, maintains accurate documentation and supports departmental processes that help ensure compliance with client and program requirements.
Success in this role is measured by accuracy, timeliness, responsiveness and the ability to effectively support operational workflows and contractor needs.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Three or more years of related experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience with applicant tracking or expense-management systems is a plus
Travel Coordination
- Process and fulfill approved travel requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors and vendors regarding travel arrangements, itineraries and changes
- Review incoming travel requests for completeness and compliance with client and program requirements
- Escalate exceptions as needed
- Research and book cost-effective travel arrangements, including hotel accommodations, flights and rental cars
- Track travel activity from request through completion
- Monitor reservations and process changes or extensions
- Maintain accurate records of travel-related expenses
- Support expense reconciliation
- Update internal process documents related to client travel requirements when guidance changes
- Collaborate with Sales, Accounting and other internal departments to support travel operations
Operational and Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations department
- Manage email inboxes
- Route incoming calls
- Schedule contractor drug tests
- Collect and review contractor timecards and expense submissions
- Create, maintain and distribute client reports
- Coordinate with Payroll and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Support onboarding-related administrative activities for contract employees as needed
- Identify workload gaps or resource needs and communicate them to management
Quality Management and Continuous Improvement
- Participate in the Quality Management System to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Recommend process improvements
- Escalate concerns or risks to the Management Representative
- May serve as an Internal QMS Auditor
- Conduct audits, identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions as assigned

Classification
- Non-Exempt / Hourly / Full-Time Regular
- Subject to overtime pay provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act
