Receiving Entry Clerk

STS Technical Services is hiring a Receiving Entry Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to support a growing manufacturing company. In this role, you’ll help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that incoming shipments are processed quickly and correctly. Your attention to detail will directly impact production visibility and overall operational success.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately enter receiving data into Epicor ERP, including quantities, part numbers, lot numbers, and vendor information.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate department.
• Coordinate with purchasing and quality control teams to resolve receiving issues.
• Label and route received items to appropriate storage or production areas.
• Maintain organized records of receiving documents and transactions.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred (Accounting)
• 1+ year of experience in receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP or similar inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, ERP systems).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and ERP.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
