Tank Tigers, an STS Aviation Group Company, is hiring Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians (Class C) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning their careers in aircraft fuel system maintenance.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Technician Class C is responsible for performing fuel tank maintenance, including preventive maintenance and alteration tasks, in accordance with applicable maintenance data and company procedures.

This position reports to the Facility Supervisor or Facility Manager and does not include supervisory, inspection, or sign-off authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed or partially completed and properly signed off
  • Perform maintenance in the correct sequence and request inspections in a timely manner
  • Follow all applicable maintenance data and customer requirements
  • Ensure all tools and test equipment used for airworthiness determinations are properly labeled and current
  • Request stock and materials required for assigned work
  • Accurately record work performed on maintenance records and complete all required documentation
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Remain compliant with FAR Part 145 and Part 43 requirements
  • Maintain familiarity with the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
  • Record on-the-job training (OJT) for assigned tasks
  • Immediately report any unsafe procedures, practices, or conditions to supervision
  • Work flexible schedules and perform tasks in confined spaces as required

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge, training, or experience in aircraft fuel system maintenance
  • Ability to comprehend and perform fuel system maintenance tasks with training
  • Entry-level experience with 0 to 2 years in aviation fuel maintenance
  • Mechanical experience preferred

Work Environment

  • Requires ability to work in confined spaces
  • Requires flexibility in scheduling based on operational needs
