STS Engineering Solutions is hiring an Aircraft Part Repair Analyst in Denver, Colorado. This role may be based remotely or in Denver and supports the aircraft parts repair lifecycle for company-owned material across aviation maintenance and repair operations.
The Aircraft Part Repair Analyst oversees repair activity, warranty claims, vendor performance, repair costs, component removals, contract compliance, and related data analysis. This role is ideal for an aviation maintenance, repair administration, warranty, materials, or technical operations professional with strong analytical skills and commercial aviation experience.

Position Summary
The Aircraft Part Repair Analyst oversees the repair lifecycle for company-owned material. The Analyst works to ensure the company receives maximum value from these materials by monitoring repair turnaround times and reviewing repair costs not covered under warranty or included in select fleet campaigns where reimbursement is available.
The Aircraft Part Repair Analyst also collects and analyzes data to identify issues, trends, and business opportunities. This business intelligence supports impactful decisions such as issuing RFPs to control cost forecasts or proposing and implementing policy changes to support the company’s rapid growth.
This role requires close coordination with maintenance facilities, repair vendors, OEMs, Maintenance Planning, Materials, Engineering, and internal leadership to support repair activity, warranty recovery, material availability, and fleet campaign execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Engage with maintenance facilities and repair shops to help manage contracts by confirming work scopes, reviewing invoices, and ensuring vendor punctuality and reliability
- Follow up with maintenance facilities and repair vendors to resolve discrepancy issues
- Coordinate warranty claims across the applicable fleet
- Research aircraft component removals to determine potential warranty claim eligibility
- Maintain an inventory of unserviceable components until the warranty claim process is complete
- Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors
- Engage in frequent conversations with vendor representatives and evaluate vendor performance accordingly
- Issue and manage RFPs for aircraft maintenance and repair services
- Ensure contract compliance throughout the life of each agreement
- Review work scopes for each component to incorporate required Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Engineering Orders as directed by engineering specifications, engineering direction, and reliability direction
- Coordinate between OEMs, Maintenance Planning, Materials, and Engineering groups to ensure all material is available to schedule removals for service bulletins or fleet campaigns
- Submit warranty claims related to unscheduled out-of-service aircraft events, scheduled removals driven by Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins, and commitment letters
- Negotiate claims and settlements for labor and material costs with external suppliers when rework and replacements are not specifically covered by established warranty agreements
- Maintain proficiency in contractual supplier agreements that define warranty details and the specific process for submitting orders and warranty claims
- Utilize Outlook for scheduling and coordinating events across the organization
- Maintain familiarity with required training as defined in Section 100.03 Maintenance Training for Maintenance Organization Personnel
- Ensure training is current prior to performing the functions and tasks of this position
- Perform all other duties as reasonably requested by the Manager, Repair and Warranty Administration

- Has the authority to scrap material
- Has the authority to create Repair Orders
Qualifications & Experience
- College degree in Business, Engineering, or an aviation-related field required
- Equivalent aviation industry and/or military experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Advanced degree preferred
- FAA certification preferred
- Equivalent aviation industry and/or military experience may be considered in lieu of FAA certification
- 3 to 5 years of aviation industry experience in maintenance or as an aircraft operator required
- Experience with Airbus A320 family aircraft maintenance, components, and commercial aviation repair processes required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required by management for in-service issue resolution and project completion
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to understand and perform basic mathematical equations
- Able and willing to travel in or to the United States as required
- High performer with strong quality and quantity output
- Willingness to comply with Non-Disclosure Agreements and confidentiality policies
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
