Aircraft Structures Technician

STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Structures Technicians in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced aircraft structures professionals who are skilled in structural inspections, repairs, modifications, fabrication, and component installation. Successful candidates will support commercial and military aircraft maintenance projects while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved engineering documentation and maintenance procedures.

Position Details

• Job Title: Aircraft Structures Technician
• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Reports To: Installations Manager / Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and modifications in accordance with approved engineering documentation and maintenance manuals
• Carry out all work safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Inspect, repair, and restore aircraft structural components using approved materials and procedures
• Manufacture, fit, and install aircraft structural parts to meet engineering requirements
• Fabricate and repair aircraft components using composite, fiberglass, plastic, and other approved materials
• Remove, replace, and reinstall aircraft structural components following approved maintenance procedures
• Prepare all required materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation at the beginning of each shift
• Maintain a FOD-free work area and ensure the work bay is clean before and after each task
• Return all serviceable and unserviceable items to stores with the appropriate identification and labeling
• Stay current on Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and other relevant engineering documentation
• Comply with all company policies, health and safety requirements, and airport operating procedures

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or equivalent trade qualification
• Minimum of five years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
• Recent experience working on commercial and/or military aircraft structures
• Demonstrated experience performing aircraft structural repairs, modifications, or production work
• Experience implementing and carrying out aircraft component modifications
• Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturers’ drawings and Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs)
