STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics in Phoenix, Arizona.

STS Line Maintenance is seeking motivated Aircraft Maintenance Professionals to support and grow its line maintenance station in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, the A&P Maintenance Technician supports daily aircraft maintenance operations for airline customers while delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality service.

Position Overview

The A&P Mechanic works closely with the Station Manager, Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Station Manager and Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technicians
• Work in partnership with field airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
• Ensure aircraft are maintained to required airworthiness standards
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
• Maintain the highest levels of quality and integrity in all maintenance activities
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on test results and approved technical documentation
• Follow maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks, and related technical materials
• Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and determine repair or replacement needs
• Perform additional duties as needed to support station operations
• Work outdoors and in inclement weather as required
• Perform work on 737, 767, A320, and 787 aircraft

Qualifications

• Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required
• No history of A&P infractions
• Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft considered a plus
• Must own a standard set of line maintenance tools
• Calibrated and specialty tooling will be provided
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations
• Ability to pass background check, drug and alcohol test, and Customs and Border Patrol clearance
• Basic to mid-level computer and organizational skills
• Experience working under an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 environment highly desired
• Inspection Authorization License is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft airframe and engine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Strong customer focus, communication skills, and work ethic

Compensation

• Pay range is $32 to $40 per hour
• Final rate is determined by previous experience and formal training
