Position Summary:
STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics in Mesa, Arizona. This role offers an incredible opportunity to grow your career with one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the US. The A&P Maintenance Technician will support the daily maintenance operations of our customers, ensuring aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft airframes and engines.
- Maintain high standards of quality and integrity.
- Follow maintenance manuals, schematics, and other technical documentation.
- Work on B737NG/MAX, A-320 family, E-145/170/175 aircraft.
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Work in close partnership with Airlines, Flight Crew, and Maintenance Controllers.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work environment.
Requirements:
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P).
- Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft is a plus.
- Own standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tools provided).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stairs.
- Must pass a background check/drug & alcohol test and Customs & Border Patrol Clearance.
- Basic to mid-level computer skills.
- Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) License is a plus.
Rate of Pay:
- $30 to $38 per hour, based on experience and training.
- Yearly raises available upon evaluation.
Benefits:
- Full-time employees receive PTO, health insurance, and 401K. Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits.
