Backshop Technicians

STS Technical Services is hiring Backshop Technicians in Oscoda, Michigan.

Requirements:

• Looking for individuals that are mechanically inclined. $14-$16
• For the Back shop structures this is 1st shift only; working M-F with Saturday/Sunday off.

Job Description:

Back Shop Technicians / Aircraft Structures Mechanics (Licensed or experienced):

• Drilling
• Riveting
• Forming metal
• Shrinking and stretching of metal
• Wrenching
• Must be able to read/ understand Blue print/ DWG
• Computer skills –  helpful but not required
•  Sanding
• Painting ( primer and touch up finish coatings)
• Shop cleanliness
• Read/ write and understand English
• Able to lift 50Lbs
•  Use of solvents (Isopropyl Alcohol, Sky clean, Mineral spirits & Lacquer thinner)

Back Shop Technicians – Aircraft Mechanic helper (Entry Level)

• Sanding
• Shop cleanliness
• Able to lift 50Lbs
• Computer skills –  helpful but not required
• Use of solvents (Isopropyl Alcohol, Sky clean, Mineral spirits & Lacquer thinner)
• Read/ write and understand English
