Quality Records Auditor

STS Technical Services is hiring a Quality Records Auditor in Macon, Georgia, to support aircraft maintenance documentation, records auditing and quality assurance activities.

This position is responsible for reviewing maintenance records prior to aircraft delivery, verifying documentation completeness and helping ensure all required information, signatures and records are accurate and ready for filing and scanning.

Position Overview

The Quality Records Auditor reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance and performs detailed audits of aircraft maintenance documentation according to the established audit flow process.

This role compares maintenance paperwork against information contained within maintenance systems, identifies documentation discrepancies and works with Operations and Quality Control teams to correct recordkeeping issues.

Responsibilities

• Verify the completeness of aircraft maintenance record packages
• Confirm that each required maintenance step is documented
• Ensure all required signatures are present
• Perform systematic audits of maintenance paperwork against maintenance information system data
• Review maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Verify that all open and required fields are properly annotated
• Support the audit flow process
• Ensure documentation is audited and prepared for filing and records scanning
• Report documentation discrepancies through the EmpowerMX Fleet Cycle system
• Support Operations and Quality Control teams in identifying documentation errors
• Assist with correcting maintenance documentation issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to understand procedures and apply problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Good judgment
• Ability to work accurately with detailed records and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in an aviation-related field such as management, operations or maintenance
• Experience auditing aviation documentation and records
• Knowledge of aircraft records requirements
• Experience using maintenance information systems
• Experience with EmpowerMX Fleet Cycle
• Aircraft maintenance data collection experience
• P3E or Lean experience
• Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good customer service skills
