Position Summary

The Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class C) position is an entry-level technical role for candidates with less than two years of aircraft maintenance experience. Under the supervision of the Facility Supervisor and/or Facility Manager, you will perform fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks in accordance with approved maintenance data and company standards.

This position is not assigned management, supervisory, or inspection duties and does not have authorization to sign a maintenance release for return to service. Certification under 14 CFR Part 65 is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals and company procedures
  • Perform maintenance operations in proper sequence and ensure inspections are requested and completed as required
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with approved maintenance data and customer requirements
  • Use and maintain tools and test equipment in good condition, ensuring all are labeled and current
  • Request parts, materials, and stock as needed for assigned work
  • Properly record all work performed in maintenance records and complete any additional required paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Stay familiar with company manuals, including the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
  • Record on-the-job training (OJT) for assigned tasks
  • Immediately report unsafe practices, potential inefficiencies, or unairworthy conditions to supervision
  • Adapt to flexible schedules and perform work in confined spaces when required
