STS Technical Services is hiring Inventory Material Control Associates in Stuart, Florida. This position plays an important role in supporting aerospace manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, inventory, and incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and update required inventory levels for goods, products, and materials within an assigned area
- Develop a basic understanding of processes and procedures related to the assigned work area
- Pick, kit, and deliver work orders as required
- Conduct quantity checks on stored inventory to ensure compliance with company standards
- Perform clerical duties including answering calls, entering data into computer systems, and assisting customers as needed
- Monitor and document inventory losses
- Prepare reports for supervisors and management
- Understand and complete basic SAP and MES transactions
- Train team members on specific processes or work areas when required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience required
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and learn on the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong time management skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements
- Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and materials
- Ability to communicate verbally and hear effectively
- Frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch
- Occasionally sit during work activities
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Maintain full range of motion required to perform assigned duties
- Demonstrate steady hand-eye coordination
- Reach in all directions, including potentially awkward positions
