
STS Line Maintenance is hiring an A&P Line Maintenance Station Manager in Phoenix, Arizona.
STS Line Maintenance is seeking an experienced aviation maintenance professional to lead line maintenance operations at our Phoenix, Arizona station. This is a working Station Manager position responsible for supporting aircraft maintenance operations, managing personnel, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and ensuring customer requirements are met across daily station activities.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of five years of line maintenance experience
- Minimum of three years of management experience
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in aircraft maintenance and safety matters
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with KRONOS timekeeping system preferred
- Ability to read and understand Company Manuals, Manufacturer Manuals, GMMs, and AMMs
- Ability to qualify on various aircraft through GENFAM completions and air carrier training
- Ability to perform all line maintenance functions without supervision
- Must own and provide a minimum set of hand tools
- Ability to input and approve aircraft work orders in accordance with company policies
- Ability to create work schedules that support air carrier requirements without building overtime into schedules
- Ability to complete quality, safety, and maintenance-related documentation as required
- Ability to train and assist technicians in all aspects of their positions
- Clean MVR and valid Driver License required
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain all required badging
- Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
Physical Requirements
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and work stands unassisted
- Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to work in changing climate conditions and moderate noise environments
- Must not be under a doctor’s care with limited work restrictions
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range between $95,000 and $105,000 based on experience
- Performance bonuses available based on qualifications
- Yearly raises available upon evaluation
