Position Summary
The Logistics Operative will join a dynamic and rapidly growing team in the Middle East. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day logistics operations by ensuring tools, materials, equipment, and inventory are received, stored, issued, tracked, and maintained in line with company procedures and operational requirements.
The successful candidate will support tool stores, material stores, airside equipment control, inventory database maintenance, and urgent logistics requirements while helping ensure compliance with associated Health & Safety procedures.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials and equipment are received correctly and in accordance with relevant procedures
- Ensure correct storage, tagging, and calibration of tooling and equipment
- Control the issuing and storage of tools and equipment, including airside equipment
- Maintain minimum stock levels in tool stores and material stores areas in accordance with supplier delivery times
- Ensure compliance with associated Health & Safety procedures, including safe working practices and materials storage requirements
- Provide logistics support for urgent and high-priority requirements
- Assist the Logistics Lead in other functions when required
- Maintain the inventory database
Skills and Experience
- Proven working experience within a logistics environment
- Experience within an aviation logistics environment
- Proficiency in standard logistics software
- Ultramain experience would be advantageous
- Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach
- Willingness to learn
