STS Technical Services is hiring Manufacturing Process Analysts in Melbourne, Florida.
Position Summary
Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions applied to manufacturing processes, seeking the reduction of recurring and non- recurring industrial costs focusing on the improvement of quality and efficiency of resources. Participate in the development of budget, planning and control of resources necessary to the implementation of new projects and programs, under supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Generate documents and work orders
- Analyze processes, identifying flow of information, mapping value chain and detecting improvement opportunities
- Structuring of opportunities for validation
- Working in Manufacturing Engineering
- Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions by interfacing with other areas (Logistics / Production / Quality / Engineering / Sites / Clients / Suppliers);
- Apply engineering methodologies & tooling to solve technical problems
- Technical dispositioning and attending to documentation
- Support production / final assembly line. Prioritization of work applicable to the technician’s responsibility.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Has the ability to interpret and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Has knowledge of process to define and write procedures.
- Prior experience working with Manufacturing Engineering
- Provide input to implement technical solutions according to interfacing with other areas (Logistics / Production / Quality / Engineering / Sites / Clients / Suppliers);
- Has the ability to solve technical problems by applying methodologies & tooling;
- Can execute actions in planning according as required for quality
Education:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years working in an aircraft assembly environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Read, write and conversational English required
Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements:
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
