STS Engineering Solutions is hiring an Aircraft Parts LHT Program Analyst for a remote opportunity supporting aircraft component repair, warranty, loan and materials management activities.

This role is responsible for overseeing the repair life cycle of company-owned aircraft materials, monitoring Lufthansa Technik aircraft part loans, reconciling billing and inventory records, coordinating warranty claims and working with vendors to control repair costs and turnaround times.

The ideal candidate will have airline or aviation experience, strong analytical and project management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance facilities, repair vendors, OEMs and internal airline departments.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Parts LHT Program Analyst oversees the repair life cycle for company-owned materials and works to maximize their operational and financial value.

This position monitors repair turnaround times, reviews costs not covered under warranty, manages reimbursement opportunities tied to fleet campaigns and analyzes operational data to identify issues and business opportunities.

The Analyst uses this information to support business decisions, manage requests for proposals, improve cost forecasting and recommend policy or process changes that support continued growth.

Repair and Vendor Management Responsibilities

  • Work with maintenance facilities and repair shops to manage repair activity and contractual requirements
  • Confirm repair work scopes
  • Review invoices for accuracy and contract compliance
  • Monitor vendor turnaround times, punctuality and reliability
  • Follow up with maintenance facilities and repair vendors to resolve discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendor representatives
  • Evaluate vendor performance through regular communication and review
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve repair, billing and contractual disputes
  • Create and manage repair orders
  • Exercise authority to scrap materials when appropriate

Warranty Responsibilities

  • Coordinate warranty claims across applicable aircraft fleets
  • Research aircraft component removals to identify potential warranty claims
  • Maintain inventory control of unserviceable components until warranty claims are completed
  • Submit warranty claims related to unscheduled out-of-service aircraft events
  • Submit claims for scheduled component removals driven by Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins and commitment letters
  • Review repair costs not covered under warranty
  • Identify reimbursement opportunities connected to applicable fleet campaigns
  • Negotiate claims and settlements for labour and material costs when rework or replacement is not covered by an established warranty agreement
  • Maintain working knowledge of supplier agreements defining warranty coverage and claim submission procedures

Lufthansa Parts Programme Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report daily on all open Lufthansa Technik aircraft part loans
  • Reconcile open loans with Lufthansa Technik
  • Ensure internal systems remain aligned with Lufthansa Technik records
  • Identify and escalate loan discrepancies
  • Review and reconcile Lufthansa Technik billing statements
  • Confirm billing complies with applicable contractual terms
  • Lead daily review meetings
  • Follow up on outstanding action items
  • Partner with airline maintenance stations and vendors to support timely component returns
  • Provide regular programme updates and reports to cross-functional stakeholders

Contract and RFP Responsibilities

  • Issue and manage requests for proposals for aircraft maintenance and repair services
  • Review vendor proposals and support repair cost forecasting
  • Ensure contract compliance throughout the life of each agreement
  • Maintain familiarity with contractual supplier agreements
  • Use operational and financial data to identify cost-control opportunities
  • Recommend policy and process changes when appropriate

Technical and Materials Coordination

  • Review component work scopes
  • Ensure applicable Airworthiness Directives are incorporated
  • Confirm required Service Bulletins and Engineering Orders are included
  • Follow engineering specifications and direction from Engineering and Reliability teams
  • Coordinate with OEMs, Maintenance Planning, Materials and Engineering
  • Help ensure materials are available to support scheduled removals
  • Support service bulletin and fleet campaign requirements
  • Coordinate component returns with airline maintenance stations and vendors

Reporting and Analysis

  • Collect and analyze repair, warranty, loan and vendor performance data
  • Identify operational issues and business opportunities
  • Prepare regular status reports for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records throughout the component repair and warranty process
  • Use business intelligence to support cost forecasting and operational decisions
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook to schedule meetings and coordinate activities across the organization

Training and Compliance

  • Maintain familiarity with the training requirements outlined in Section 100.03 Maintenance Training for Maintenance Organization Personnel
  • Ensure all required training remains current before performing assigned duties
  • Comply with applicable non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality policies
  • Perform other duties reasonably requested by the Manager

Authority

The Aircraft Parts LHT Program Analyst has the authority to:

  • Create repair orders
  • Scrap materials

Qualifications

  • College degree in Business, Engineering or an aviation-related discipline
  • Equivalent aviation industry or military experience may be considered in place of a degree
  • At least one year of airline, aviation or analytics experience
  • Project management or financial analysis experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to produce a high volume of accurate, high-quality work
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required for in-service issue resolution or project completion
  • Ability and willingness to travel within or to the United States as required
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for up to 10 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience using TRAX or AMOS
  • Experience managing a Lufthansa aircraft parts programme

This home office-based role requires candidates to reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan national airport and includes 50 to 70 percent U.S.-based overnight travel and on-site field work.

Position Overview

The Field Service Engineer will perform electrical power system studies, gather electrical system data, support arc flash service proposals and deliver technical recommendations to customers across multiple industries. This role works closely with sales teams, customers, maintenance personnel, safety teams, plant engineering groups and management to ensure electrical safety, code compliance and accurate project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform electrical power system engineering studies and infrared thermography for clients across multiple industries
  • Assist the sales team and communicate with clients regarding arc flash services offered
  • Project manage assigned customer projects from job kickoff through job closeout
  • Evaluate documents and gather electrical data to create engineering study project proposals
  • Perform on-site electrical system assessments to document existing system configuration, equipment ratings, conductor lengths, ampacities and overcurrent protective device information
  • Perform power system studies including arc flash studies, short circuit coordination studies and fault current studies
  • Perform general and site-specific arc flash training for customers
  • Perform arc flash audits and gap analysis
  • Create customer reports and communicate findings to customers
  • Identify electrical code violations
  • Create arc flash reports, including arc flash labels, single-line diagrams and recommendations to reduce incident energy
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and trainer to internal personnel on arc flash safety, assessments, audits and calculations

What You Will Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • In lieu of education, 10 years of practical electrical engineering, engineering calculation or field experience in the electrical building construction industry is acceptable
  • Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering, engineering calculation experience or related field experience
  • Ability to understand installed electrical distribution systems, electrical schematic diagrams and engineering documentation
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E and OSHA requirements related to arc flash and electrical distribution
  • Self-directed and able to solve problems in the field with no supervision
  • Proficiency with SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to train customers on general arc flash principles and site-specific arc flash requirements
  • Ability to interface with customers, including maintenance, safety and plant engineering personnel, as well as upper levels of management
  • Proficiency in generating technical reports, including recommendations to clients
  • Ability to travel 50 to 70 percent for U.S.-based overnight travel and on-site field work
  • Must reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan national airport.
