Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists while gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading precise measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for accuracy and securely fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisors for additional resources when needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, follow manufacturer instructions, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs when required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place and expedite supply orders, and verify receipt of supplies.
  • Conserve resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies to achieve results.
  • Document work completed by filling out production and quality forms accurately.
  • Contribute to team goals by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background / Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing and component assembly is a plus.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting OEM product development, sales, and marketing initiatives while serving as an internal subject matter expert. About the Job:

STS Component Solutions is hiring an OEM Product Line Manager to join our OEM Distribution team in Palm City, Florida. In this critical role, you’ll become the internal expert driving strategic growth and market leadership within our OEM and aftermarket product lines. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, marketing, purchasing, and business development teams to maximize revenue, optimize inventory, and build robust relationships with our OEM partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage daily activities related to assigned OEM and aftermarket products, including RFQs, purchase orders, forecasts, stocking orders, inventory management, and customer support.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to formulate effective sales strategies and pricing models.
  • Act as the liaison between OEM partners and STS Component Solutions’ sales, support, and business development teams.
  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and product launch strategies.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Travel as needed to attend industry conferences, visit customers, and engage in critical business meetings.
  • Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries outlining performance, trends, and recommendations.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for designated product lines, providing guidance and strategic insights across the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or related fields)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in OEM distribution, particularly within aerospace or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of commercial aviation, aircraft aftermarket operations, supply chain dynamics, and inventory management
  • Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive-level presentations
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and excel in a collaborative team environment

Additional Qualifications:

  • Comfortable learning new software systems such as Quantum and developing process enhancements
