Responsibilities

Receive, locate and transfer inventory for stock and assembly locations
Coordinate with Purchasing, Scheduling and Quality to maintain inventory levels
Help ensure materials are available to support consistent production
Maintain lot and batch traceability for raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods
Ensure materials are received, stored and issued according to FIFO, FEFO and company inventory control procedures
Support Quality and Production during audits, recalls, investigations and customer traceability requests
Prioritize material movement based on changing production requirements
Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system
Process order receipts, material location transfers and inventory reconciliation transactions
Monitor inventory availability and communicate material shortages
Identify inventory excess and obsolete materials
Generate and analyze inventory reports
Investigate inventory discrepancies
Assist with the development and improvement of inventory control procedures
Maintain compliance with company policies and quality standards

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of inventory control principles
Knowledge of cycle counting and warehouse operations
Knowledge of lot control and material traceability processes
Experience working with ERP or MRP systems

1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Essential Job Duties

Set up all repeat jobs that are fully documented while ensuring consistency and adherence to established procedures
Run first-piece parts to meet print specifications and validate setup accuracy
Program CNC machines and perform edits to optimize performance and part quality
Conduct manual inspections of parts using inspection sheets and established criteria
Read and interpret blueprints at a medium to high level
Apply inspection protocols and complete required documentation
Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to ensure precision and compliance with tolerances
Operate multiple machines simultaneously within a production cell to maximize efficiency
Utilize advanced shop math, including trigonometry and geometry, to support machining operations and problem-solving
Mentor and train operators to promote skill development and consistency in repetitive tasks
Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and team objectives

Qualifications

High school diploma or CNC technical diploma preferred
5 or more years of machining experience
Mechanical interest and aptitude
Good math skills
Willingness to learn and grow
Experience setting up, operating and programming CNC machines
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Working knowledge of GD&T
Ability to inspect parts and validate conformance to print specifications
Ability to support multiple machines within a production cell

Essential Job Duties

Operate machine tools and perform offset adjustments to ensure parts meet print specifications using written setup instructions
Perform repetitive machining tasks with consistency and attention to quality standards
Read and interpret basic blueprints
Correlate blueprint specifications with inspection protocols and documentation requirements
Assist in the setup of machine tools under the guidance of experienced machinists
Apply foundational knowledge of machining techniques and control functions to support production operations
Run multiple machines simultaneously within a production cell to maximize throughput
Utilize working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to support accurate part production
Mentor and train operators on repetitive machining tasks to promote skill development and process consistency
Perform other duties as assigned to support team and production goals

Qualifications

High school diploma required
CNC technical diploma preferred
2 or more years of machining experience
Proficiency with required measuring equipment for assigned work
Solid math skills
Strong mechanical interest and aptitude
Willingness to learn and grow

Actively participate as part of the maintenance team to help increase facility runtime
Support day-to-day production requirements to keep machinery running and producing parts in constant supply
Execute work orders
Perform root cause analysis
Support equipment improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on manufacturing equipment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Move parts safely and efficiently to machines, shipping, inspection or storage with proper documentation
Maintain accurate paperwork and move tickets
Transfer data to required paperwork with accuracy
Pull hoppers from machines and empty them into the correct chip containers based on material grade
Maintain machines with proper fluid levels
Assist Maintenance with preventive maintenance activities
Assist with moving, disassembling and assembling machines as needed
Ensure fixtures and tooling are stocked and stored in the proper locations
Keep oil and coolant areas clean and organized
Return unused tooling to the tool crib
Remove used inserts from work benches and place them in the recycle bin
Clean floors and parking lot areas to reduce chips in main areas
Clean and wipe down machines that are not running
Remove garbage and unusable wood skids
Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1 to 3 years of related experience
Current fork truck certification required
Certified forklift license required
CDL preferred or willingness to obtain CDL
Strong organization skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to ensure proper product location and documentation accuracy
Responsible, dependable and safety-focused work style
