STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics to join our growing Columbus, Ohio (CMH) Line Maintenance station.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with Station Manager, Airlines, Flight Crew, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards as prescribed by FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, and company policies.
  • Perform inspections, tests, troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs on aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and integrity.
  • Replace defective components based on test analysis, following maintenance manuals and schematics.
  • Use precision instruments to measure parts for wear and perform repairs as needed.
  • Work on aircraft such as the Airbus A320, Boeing 737, Embraer Regional Jets, and the CRJ family.
  • Perform duties outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no infractions; recent experience with turbine-powered aircraft is preferred.
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tools provided).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work while standing.
  • Able to pass a background check, drug & alcohol test, and obtain Customs & Border Patrol clearance.
  • Basic to mid-level computer and organizational skills.
  • Experience with FAA Part 145 repair stations required; Part 135 experience preferred.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic, with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

STS Technical Services is hiring a Helicopter Pilot (SPIFR / NVG) to support air medical operations based in Columbus, Mississippi. This role places pilots on the front lines of emergency medical response, flying critical care missions in complex operating environments where professionalism, precision, and safety are non negotiable.

This position is designed for highly skilled pilots who are comfortable operating under SPIFR and NVG conditions and who value mission driven flying within a disciplined, safety first culture. Off duty housing is provided.

Position Overview

The Helicopter Pilot (SPIFR / NVG) supports air medical transport missions under CAMTS guidelines. Pilots conduct day and night missions, including IFR operations, and are responsible for the safe, compliant execution of all assigned flights while adhering strictly to company procedures and safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform line pilot duties in accordance with the General Operations Manual

  • 1,000 hours PIC helicopter
  • 500 turbine helicopter hours
  • 100 hours unaided night operations or
  • 50 hours unaided night and 100 hours NVG
  • 75 hours instrument time, actual and or hood
  • NVG qualified or eligible
  • Body weight not to exceed 235 pounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated internal and external customer service skills

Pre Employment Requirements

  • Ability to pass a pre placement physical and functional capacity exam including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Drug screening and background check
  • Schedule & Location Requirements
  • Seven days on and seven days off rotation

Senior Helicopter A&P Mechanic

STS Technical Services is hiring a Senior Helicopter A&P Mechanic in Columbus, Texas. Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Position Overview

The Senior Helicopter A&P Mechanic is responsible for maintaining aircraft airworthiness and ensuring operational readiness at all times. Duties include performing inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, documentation, inventory management, and coordination with maintenance leadership.

Each aircraft maintained supports mission-critical operations where safety and precision are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain aircraft airworthiness
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic of situations requiring schedule adjustments, aircraft changes, additional manpower, or technical assistance
  • Oversee maintenance for assigned aircraft at the field base
  • Monitor stock levels and requisition parts as necessary
  • Ensure safety and security of company assets at the assigned location
  • Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify aircraft logs and inspection forms in compliance with FAA and manufacturer requirements
  • Complete maintenance records and system entries accurately
  • Maintain communication with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and relevant personnel to ensure timely completion of work
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend appropriate level adjustments
  • Maintain company-provided special tools and ensure calibration schedules are followed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings required
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in airframe and powerplant systems
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam, drug screening, and background check
  • For roving maintenance team members, sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting experience required
  • Ability to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice
  • Ability to work night shifts as required

  • 7 and 7 schedule
  • Must live within one hour or 60 miles of the assigned base
  • Travel between bases required
