Position Summary

As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you will perform and certify maintenance, repair, and modification work on Boeing 777 aircraft, ensuring compliance with Part 145 regulations and the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for both technical execution and the supervision of maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft within company approvals
  • Certify maintenance activity in accordance with Part 145 requirements and company procedures
  • Provide leadership and supervision to mechanics and support staff, setting high standards of maintenance execution by example
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently, on time, and to customer satisfaction, supporting both on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability

Qualifications

  • EASA / UK CAA Part 66 B2 License (type rated on Boeing 777)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed technician
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom

As an HR Administrator, you will provide efficient and accurate administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process Right to Work checks in line with legal and company requirements.
  • Undertake security vetting liaising with other departments as required.
  • Monitor and manage the HR mailbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and process contract changes, including promotions, employment letters, etc.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems as required.
  • Input and maintain employee data within HR systems.
  • Administer employee leave processes, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
  • Coordinate employment references for current and former employees.
  • Arrange Occupational Health bookings and liaise with employees and providers as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider HR team.
  • Provide note taking support in meetings as required.
  • Assist Line Managers in resolving/escalating a range of HR issues, by advising on HR policies, procedures and employment law. Escalating if necessary for support.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in an HR administration or HR support role, minimum 2 years.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

As the Deputy Check Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of allocated maintenance inputs, retaining oversight of all maintenance tasks to ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver allocated maintenance inputs to schedule

  • Carry out DQS self-audits per base maintenance procedures and allocate to staff as needed
  • Assist with quality audits and implement robust closure plans
  • Assist the Head of Base Maintenance in managing budgets as required

Basic Requirements:

  • Must hold Category B license with 777 type ratings and C certification
  • Previous Base Maintenance Management experience as B1 and/or B2 certifying engineer required
  • Must be willing and able to work Day or Evening shifts
  • Must have legal right to work in the UK
  • Strong working knowledge of Part 145 Aviation Legislation
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills
