STS Line Maintenance is hiring an Asset and Tooling Supervisor in Melbourne, Florida. This role sits at the center of how our teams work. The person who steps into it becomes the guardian of our equipment, the standard bearer for compliance and accuracy, and the one who keeps our stations supplied with the tools they need to support aircraft safely and efficiently. Position Summary

Responsible for the overall day to day compliance and inventory control of the STSLM Asset and Tooling Program.

Educational Background and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Auditing and Surveillance experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to quickly adapt to various software platforms
  • Proven experience in Asset Control

General Qualifications and Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook etc.

The Asset and Tooling Supervisor will report to the Director of Quality.

General Responsibilities

  • Managing the Maintenance and Test Equipment Program MTE equipment and company assets.
  • Administers all aspects of the STS Line Maintenance STSLM asset and tooling program. Responsible for the accurate reporting of the STS calibrated and non calibrated assets for Line Maintenance.
  • Maintains location and uploads all calibration certificates into the STS Asset Control System Asset Tiger.
  • Maintains effective communication with all STSLM stations and directors to ensure all aspects of the asset and tooling program are disseminated properly to the line stations
  • Utilizes a variety of auditing and tracking concepts practices and procedures centered on setting the standard for asset control of all assets and tooling as well as certifying that all assets are serviceable.
  • Identify weaknesses in the processes and report these weaknesses to management for process improvement using various resources. Reviewing and inspecting STSLM and customer assets by alerting any out of service equipment and needs for PM to the Station Managers.
  • Ensure the implementation of and adherence to policies by performing random audits of the system. Compliance and follow up of policies and reporting conclusions of results and effectiveness of published procedures.
  • Identify and document out of service tooling coming due at all STSLM Stations to ensure all expired tooling is staged to ship to the STSLM Asset and Tooling Department. Schedule assets for repair and coordinate any repairs as necessary and or justify replacement in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for monitoring the audit of calibrated tooling each month at the station level IAW the RSQSM policies on calibrated tooling. Review the history of assets to ensure STS has adequate tooling to meet the customer requirements. Report on any discrepancies to the Director of Quality for further action.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly and annual preventative maintenance inspections on non vehicular assets per STSLM standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training of the electronic Asset Tracking Asset Tiger program to maintain the goals of the STSLM calibrated tool control program and Asset and Inventory Program.
  • Administer the calibrated tool program making sure STSLM maintains regulatory compliance in all areas of calibrated tooling.

  • Meet all CAR response and acceptance time lines
  • Keep accurate documentation and report system discrepancies
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate leadership
  • Implementing evaluation methods to ensure STS adheres closely to internal policies
  • Provide good leadership that sets the tone of how things should be done
  • Ensure technicians always have functioning tools in the correct quantity and location

Position Summary:

STS Line Maintenance is looking for highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Professionals to help us grow our line maintenance station in Dallas/Ft Worth area, TX (DFW) !!. The Lead A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of the maintenance operations for our customers and ensures an outstanding experience by providing top-level service.

Position Responsibilities:

  • This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads. Candidate will work in close partnership with the field airlines, flight crew and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
  • The candidate will ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair different transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity.
  • Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results while following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation.
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required.
  • Other duties as may be deemed necessary.
  • Able to work outdoors and in inclement weather as required.
  • Work will be performed on various Commercial and Large Regional aircraft, including but not limited to the Airbus A320,737, A300, A330, CRJ, and Embraer 170.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certifications (A&P) with no history of infractions.
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft considered a plus.
  • Previous Experience working on the Boeing 737 or Airbus A300, A320, A330 or A220 is desired, but is not required
  • Gen Fams on the 737, A300, A320, A330 or A220 will get you a HIGHER PAY RATE !!
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling will be provided).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude while being able to perform your job with minimal supervision.
  • With or without accommodations, employees must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs and must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to pass background check as well as drug & alcohol test. In addition, he / she must be able to obtain customs & border patrol clearance.
  • Must have basic-to-mid-level computer & organizational skills.
  • Experience working under a FAA approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.

Rate of Pay:

  • Rate of pay is determined by previous experience, and will range from $38-$44 based on previous experience.
  • Yearly raises are available upon evaluation.

A&P Mechanics

STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics in Melbourne, Florida.

Position Overview:

Seeking experienced A&P Mechanics with no less than 2 years of experience who also have spent at least 12 months performing line maintenance on commercial and large regional aircraft.  Candidates with previous 787 experience would be ideal, but 787 experience is not required. It does require previous Airbus 320 or 737 with Gen Fam.

Qualifications & Addition Info:

  • Work schedule will be either 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts. Station operating hours are from 0530 – 2200. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and any shift.
  • There is potential for swapping work days to help make sure the station has full coverage.
  • On the days he/she is scheduled to work, they will be on-call during the “off hours”. You will be paid 1.5x from the time they leave their home to the time they return home for “On Call” repairs.
  • Candidate must have a strong technical background, who possess confidence in their abilities.
  • Must be able to work alone without direction.
  • Candidate must be able to competently troubleshoot systems, and research maintenance manuals, to properly perform their duties and repair the aircraft.
  • Candidates must have the ability to think on their feet, and good decision making processes.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Authorization:

  • All candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States.
