STS Technical Services is hiring a Quality Analyst in Melbourne, Florida.

Position Overview:

Analysis data in order to determine if services provided (internal or external) are meeting quality standards. Create, Develop, Maintain and present to the customer Aircraft Delivery Documentation in accordance with corporate and FAA regulatory requirements. Develops standardized testing methods that can be taught to other inspectors at the company.  Based on the data collected, the quality analysts work to improve the processes through which the company operates, often by altering company policies and developing workflow.  The Analyst is responsible for putting the results of the analysis in reports and is also often responsible for presenting findings to upper management.

Job Duties:

  • Work with groups and subject matter experts throughout the organization to support company requirements
  • Contribute to, and work in cooperation with, other standards and business process groups throughout the organization
  • Perform content gap analysis on current state procedures and policies to develop future state
  • Develops and manages the data collection process for the site processes
  • Ensure all customers internal and external requirements specific to Quality as defined in the Quality Management Systems are met
  • Generate and circulate required reports on Quality with detailed analysis and corrective action planning
  • Work with Operations to identify process improvement opportunities basis performance of process metrics
  • Assist in any certification efforts specific to the project
  • Refer questionable conditions or recurring difficulties to working leader or supervision
  • Analysis of aircraft records in the issuance of Airworthiness Certificates
  • As required segregate waste material and comply with all EH&S practices

Basic Qualifications:

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Aerospace related discipline, and/or related field or equivalent education and/or experience

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years

  • Excellent Skills in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Product Data Management (PDM)

  • Maintain complete and accurate BOM structures

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

  • Ensure BOMs transferred to ERP are accurate and aligned with released drawings
  • Support part number creation and configuration accuracy
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to resolve BOM discrepancies
  • Ensure engineering changes are properly reflected in ERP before production implementation

Engineering Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure designs meet performance requirements and applicable standards

  • Support new product development and existing product modifications
  • Develop and maintain automation rules, templates, and configurators within DriveWorks to streamline repetitive design tasks
  • Collaborate with engineers and sales teams to build product configurators that enable rapid customization
  • Manage engineering data and documentation through SolidWorks PDM
  • Ensure compliance with version control, workflow approvals, and data integrity standards
  • Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for PDM-related issues
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce design cycle times
  • Develop best practices, standards, and documentation for CAD and automation processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and IT to align design automation with business needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (Certified SolidWorks Professional [CSWP] or higher preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with DriveWorks (DriveWorks Solo/Pro is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of SolidWorks PDM administration and workflows
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) principles
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
