Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience using CAD software with PDM file storage system (designing, drafting, and concept iterations). Solidworks and Solidworks EPDM preferred.
  • Experience and aptitude in injection molding, die casting, sheet metal design and top level assembly management.
  • Familiarity with A-surface, UI/UX touchpoints and ergonomics.
  • Capable of developing design solutions with limited direction.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively cross-functionally and receive and guide feedback surrounding complex tradeoffs.
  • Basic understanding of tolerances and stack-ups.
  • Experience prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Fluent English speaking required

Nature of Work:

  • Mechanical/Electrical Designer will drive program level designs and documentation for High Voltage product design solutions
  • Will play a central role in the development of instrument panels for energy solutions, including wire harness design

STS Technical Group is hiring Electrical Engineers in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Position Summary:

As a part of our engineering services team, you will perform electrical design, technical analysis and resolution of engineering problems for clients, with focused consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation. In the course of a typical year, you may work on several projects ranging in scale for multiple different clients, and the ability to juggle these competing priorities will be critical.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with design/alteration of electrical equipment
  • Assist with testing and debugging equipment to isolate defects
  • Prepare layouts using CAD tools
  • Assist in evaluation of designs, and make necessary engineering changes
  • Prepare basic schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM)
  • Assist in the evaluation of new parts
  • May assist in supporting manufacturing teams
  • Manage and maintain product and project files
  • Maintain project files

Job Specifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts
  • Basic knowledge of CAD and engineering systems
  • Strong logical and reasoning abilities
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing methods, electrical design, and project management
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel to and work within customer’s facility, and to manage that relationship

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Typically, 2-3 years of electrical engineering experience is preferred. Candidates who recently graduated from college will also be considered for entry level engineer position.

Supervisory/Responsibility:

  • Role reports to Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Manager, or Principal Electrical Engineer; this position does not directly supervise other employees

Work Environment:

This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility.  Although the employee may spend a portion of his/her time in the office area, the employee’s essential job duties also require the employee to spend a portion of his/her time in the manufacturing area.  The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.

Physical Demands:

This role requires the constant use of standard office equipment; visual and mental focus; light lifting may be required in order to inspect goods; regular travel is expected.

Position Type:

This is a direct-hire, full-time position, and a regular workweek may require extended days and hours as required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for day-to-day production challenges and contribute to mid and long-term continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures, focusing on safety, ergonomics, and production efficiency.
  • Lead quality and production goal assessments and improvements, serving as a technical liaison for production staff and management.
  • Engage in special projects including fixture design, capital equipment evaluation, and project scoping.

Position Overview:

The Endpoint Security Engineer will work alongside the Security Team to modernize device management practices, deploy enterprise-grade security controls, and support security program maturity. Key Responsibilities:

Endpoint Management & Security (50%)

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
  • Design and manage device configuration profiles for laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Implement compliance controls, security policies, and conditional access rules
  • Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues and provide guidance to junior team members

Process Improvement & Knowledge Management (30%)

  • Streamline provisioning processes to reduce manual workload
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
  • Mentor support staff and assist with knowledge transfer

Security Program Growth & Compliance (20%)

  • Support ISO 27001 certification efforts via control implementation and documentation
  • Contribute to security policy creation and procedural documentation
  • Learn and apply security frameworks and participate in broader security initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of IT systems administration experience, including 3–5 years in Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
  • Proficient in endpoint configuration, compliance, and conditional access policies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical initiatives
  • Capable of writing detailed documentation and delivering knowledge transfer
  • Demonstrated interest in security and willingness to grow within the field
  • Self-starter with a process improvement mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EDR tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or CrowdStrike
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOX, or PCI compliance frameworks
  • Previous work experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Background in IT service management and documentation
  • PowerShell scripting or other automation experience
  • Understanding of advanced security practices (RBAC, PAM, Managed Identities, etc.)
