Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic of unusual circumstances requiring schedule changes, aircraft adjustments, or additional manpower or technical assistance.
  • Oversee maintenance at assigned field bases, monitor stock levels, and requisition parts as necessary.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all company assets at assigned locations.
  • Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify aircraft logs and inspection forms in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements.
  • Complete maintenance records and system entries accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other stakeholders to ensure timely job completion.
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend stock level adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain company-provided special tools and ensure proper calibration schedules are met.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of certified aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical exam (including strength and flexibility assessment), drug screening, and background check.
  • For members of the roving maintenance team: sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair experience required.
  • Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work night shifts as required.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking A&P licensed Aircraft Mechanics with at least two years of certified maintenance experience to support helicopter operations that require fast response and absolute reliability. You will troubleshoot, inspect and maintain high performance aircraft that are trusted in emergency situations where every second counts.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection needs to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic of unusual conditions that affect schedules aircraft availability manpower or technical support.
  • Oversee maintenance of assigned aircraft at field bases including monitoring stock levels and requesting necessary parts.
  • Maintain safety and security of all company assets at field locations.
  • Prepare and certify maintenance documentation aircraft logs inspection forms and reports in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Complete entries in maintenance software systems including work packages removals installations and aircraft status updates.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Lead Mechanic and other operational personnel to ensure timely task completion.
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend adjustments when necessary.
  • Maintain and track calibration of company issued tools.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified aircraft mechanic.
  • Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to pass a physical exam functional capacity assessment lifting up to 100 lbs drug screening and background check.

Additional Requirements for Roving Maintenance Technicians

  • Sheet metal repair and or avionics troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to travel frequently including with short notice.
  • Ability to work night shifts based on maintenance needs.
