Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
- Notify the Lead Mechanic of unusual circumstances requiring schedule changes, aircraft adjustments, or additional manpower or technical assistance.
- Oversee maintenance at assigned field bases, monitor stock levels, and requisition parts as necessary.
- Ensure the safety and security of all company assets at assigned locations.
- Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify aircraft logs and inspection forms in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements.
- Complete maintenance records and system entries accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other stakeholders to ensure timely job completion.
- Manage parts inventory and recommend stock level adjustments as needed.
- Maintain company-provided special tools and ensure proper calibration schedules are met.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum of 2 years of certified aircraft maintenance experience.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical exam (including strength and flexibility assessment), drug screening, and background check.
- For members of the roving maintenance team: sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair experience required.
- Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work night shifts as required.
Compensation and Benefits

Schedule and Location
- 7 & 7 rotational schedule.
- Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or 60 miles (whichever is greater) from the assigned base.
- Travel between bases may be required.
