Tank Tigers, an STS Aviation Group company, is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Station Manager in Memphis, Tennessee.

This position is responsible for supervising aircraft fuel system maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration activities while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with approved technical data, repair station procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and have at least four years of aircraft fuel system maintenance experience. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on leadership experience and the ability to train and supervise technicians working in confined aircraft fuel tank environments.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Station Manager will supervise maintenance personnel performing aircraft fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations.

This position reports to the assigned Facility Manager or OCC Manager/Director and carries responsibility for directing technicians, maintaining continuity of work, confirming personnel qualifications and ensuring all maintenance records and customer documentation are completed properly.

Because this role includes supervising and assisting individuals who may be unfamiliar with assigned fuel system maintenance tasks, the selected candidate must meet the qualification requirements established under 14 CFR Part 145.153 and Tank Tigers Repair Station Manual Section 4.6.9.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise aircraft fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration activities
  • Direct and support technicians who are unfamiliar with assigned maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable technical data and approved procedures
  • Maintain continuity of maintenance during shift changes and personnel reassignments
  • Ensure maintenance activities are properly documented and transferred between shifts
  • Confirm that confined space entry procedures are followed and monitored
  • Ensure appropriate tools, equipment and maintenance data are available and used correctly
  • Verify that assigned personnel have the required experience, knowledge or training
  • Train and supervise employees who are unfamiliar with maintenance practices or techniques
  • Provide technicians with guidance on proper work procedures and maintenance practices
  • Remain available for consultation regarding maintenance in progress
  • Ensure only qualified mechanics sign for completed work
  • Verify that maintenance records are completed accurately
  • Confirm that all work complies with applicable technical data and customer requirements
  • Ensure on-the-job training is documented and forwarded to the Training Department
  • Maintain clean and orderly work and shop areas
  • Ensure parts are handled properly during and after maintenance
  • Confirm completion of customer requirements for customer-supplied parts
  • Ensure all required tags and forms are attached and completed correctly
  • Delegate duties only to qualified personnel
  • Maintain responsibility for delegated work
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Facility Manager
  • Remain familiar with applicable requirements under 14 CFR Parts 43 65 and 145

Qualifications

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
  • Minimum of four years of aircraft fuel system maintenance experience
  • Must meet the qualification requirements of Tank Tigers Repair Station Manual Section 4.6.9
  • Must meet supervisory qualification requirements under 14 CFR Part 145.153
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft fuel tank maintenance methods and procedures
  • Familiarity with the tools equipment aids and techniques used in aircraft fuel system maintenance
  • Ability to read and follow approved technical data
  • Experience supervising maintenance personnel
  • Ability to train and support technicians with varying levels of fuel system experience
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation requirements
  • Ability to ensure proper completion of maintenance records tags and forms
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to enter and work safely in confined spaces
  • Ability to fit into small aircraft fuel tank areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe license
  • Previous experience teaching or training aircraft maintenance technicians

Work Environment

This position requires hands-on work in aircraft fuel tank environments and other confined spaces.

The Aircraft Maintenance Station Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule and support maintenance activities based on operational and customer requirements.

All work must be performed in accordance with applicable safety procedures repair station requirements technical data and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Senior Helicopter A&P Mechanic

STS Technical Services is hiring a Senior Helicopter A&P Mechanic in Buckeye, Arizona. Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Position Overview

The Senior Helicopter A&P Mechanic is responsible for maintaining aircraft airworthiness and operational readiness at all times. This role includes performing inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inventory management, regulatory documentation, and coordination with maintenance leadership.

Every aircraft maintained supports time-sensitive missions where precision and reliability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain aircraft airworthiness
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic of situations requiring schedule adjustments, aircraft changes, additional manpower, or technical support
  • Oversee maintenance for assigned aircraft at the field base
  • Monitor stock levels and requisition parts as necessary
  • Ensure safety and security of company assets at the assigned location
  • Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify aircraft logs and inspection forms in compliance with FAA and manufacturer requirements
  • Complete maintenance records and system entries accurately
  • Maintain communication with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and relevant personnel to ensure timely completion of work
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend appropriate level adjustments
  • Maintain company-provided special tools and ensure calibration schedules are followed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings required
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities in airframe and powerplant systems
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam, drug screening, and background check
  • For roving maintenance team members, sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting experience required
  • Ability to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice
  • Ability to work night shifts as required

Schedule & Location

  • 7 and 7 schedule
  • Must live within one hour or 60 miles of the assigned base
  • Travel between bases required

Position Summary

STS Technical Services is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics to support dedicated corporate aviation operations in the Detroit, Michigan area. This is a direct hire opportunity within a high-level flight operation supporting business aircraft.

This role operates in a dedicated environment where consistency, precision, and accountability matter. You will work closely with flight crews, OEMs, regulatory authorities, and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft meet strict airworthiness standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure aircraft are maintained in compliance with FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, and company policies
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair corporate aircraft airframes and engines
  • Perform maintenance using technical manuals, schematics, and manufacturer data
  • Utilize precision tools and test equipment to measure wear and determine repair requirements
  • Repair or replace defective components and verify system functionality
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
  • Remain on-call as required and adjust to schedule changes to support operational readiness
  • Support additional maintenance-related duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of corporate or business jet airframe experience required
  • Hands-on Gulfstream experience required
  • Experience working in a Part 145 repair station required, Part 135 experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Approximately 20% travel required, including potential international travel
  • Inspection Authorization or FCC License is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
