Position Overview

The Aircraft Records Specialist supports regulatory and company compliance requirements related to the retention and maintenance of aircraft, engine and component records.

This position is responsible for processing maintenance records, completing aircraft records audits, updating maintenance tracking systems and maintaining accurate documentation associated with aircraft operations and maintenance.

The ideal candidate can work independently, contribute effectively within a team and prioritize multiple records-related responsibilities to meet client deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Update maintenance task requirements in TRAX and/or AMOS
  • Maintain component and time-controlled records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Process transactions for the removal and installation of aircraft components and assemblies
  • Audit line maintenance work packages
  • Audit base maintenance work packages
  • Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks
  • Perform aircraft records data entry and filing
  • Scan and index paper documents for electronic storage
  • Audit documentation within FlyDocs
  • Identify and correct aircraft records documentation errors
  • Run required aircraft records and maintenance reports
  • Support additional aircraft records responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience processing and auditing aircraft records within an aviation information management system
  • Experience with systems such as AMOS, eMRO, TRAX, SCEPTRE, IFS Maintenix, Traxall, PMI, STC or similar platforms
  • Ability to successfully complete required drug testing
  • Ability to successfully complete a 10-year background check
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience with keyboarding and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using web-based applications
  • Ability to navigate internet-based systems
  • Experience filing electronic documents using SharePoint, shared network drives or similar systems
  • Ability to understand and perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to maintain high standards for both quality and productivity
  • Willingness to comply with non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality policies
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for up to 10 hours per day

Job Purpose

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of Stores
  • Pick and issue parts and consumables

  • Deliver training on assigned work instructions and quality standards
  • Maintain all quality standards within the Right to Know Quality Center
  • Ensure quality documents reflect current revisions and match the Master Document record
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders to maintain employee training competencies
  • Maintain the calibration program and ensure only properly calibrated gauges and equipment are used
  • Verify that calibration records remain accurate and current
  • Coordinate calibration activities with external vendors and Operations teams
  • Organize gauge repair activities with external vendors
  • Coordinate with Production to ensure gauges are available when needed
  • Develop and distribute quality bulletins and quality alerts
  • Maintain quality communications across four Milwaukee-area facilities
  • Support additional Production and Quality team responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Quality or a related technical discipline
  • Community or technical college certification in a relevant field
  • High school diploma with applicable manufacturing quality experience may also be considered
  • Experience working in quality control or quality assurance
  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system
  • Experience training Operations employees on quality standards and work instructions
  • Experience with gauge calibration and calibration record maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform audits and inspections effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong quality document management skills
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand manufacturing processes

  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools
  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience with welding processes
  • Experience with paint operations
  • Experience with electrical or mechanical assembly
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish

Work Location

This position supports four manufacturing sites located within approximately 10 to 15 minutes of one another in the Milwaukee area.

STS Technical Services is hiring an Airline Program Analyst for a remote, long-term contract opportunity supporting operations for a major commercial airline. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical abilities, aviation or airline industry experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

This is a 100% remote opportunity supporting a fast-paced airline maintenance and supply chain environment.

Position Overview

The Airline Program Analyst will support program tracking, reporting, reconciliation, and operational analysis for a major airline operation. This role will monitor open part loan activity, reconcile vendor billing statements, coordinate with repair vendors, and provide regular updates to cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor and report daily on all open part loan activity
  • Reconcile open loans with repair vendors, ensuring system alignment and escalating discrepancies as needed
  • Review and reconcile vendor billing statements to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
  • Lead daily review meetings and follow up on outstanding action items
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve disputes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Partner with airline maintenance stations and vendors to ensure timely component returns
  • Prepare and provide regular status updates and reports to cross functional stakeholders
  • Support program tracking, reporting, and operational analysis for a major airline operation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related quantitative field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in airline, aviation, analytics, or related operational support required
  • Experience with TRAX and/or AMOS maintenance systems preferred
  • Project management and/or financial analysis experience required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced operational environment
