Job Summary:

Performs a combination of warehouse, shipping and/or receiving tasks, as well as tracks company inventory.

Job Duties:

  • Perform basic tasks in regards to the receiving process
  • Receive inter-company PO’s
  • Perform the Volume and Manifest transactions
  • Research information pertaining to incoming shipments
  • Put away of parts to stock
  • Perform basic tasks in regards to the shipping process
  • Arrange delivery of parts offsite or customer pick up.
  • Generate shipping documentation, including AWB (airway bill), invoice, SLI (Shippers Letters of Instructions) and other;
  • Manual shipments
  • Perform “Skip Lot” and UOM conversions
  • Domestic and International shipping
  • Perform basic tasks in warehouse organization and management
  • Analyze basic material movements to locate parts, serial number, and quantity change.
  • Perform stock transfers and labeling, as well as parts packing and repacking when needed;
  • Perform cycle counts and recounts
  • Return of stock material re-certified/repaired
  • May be required to handle shipping and receiving of hazardous material.
  • Handles emergencies (such as no SAP, parts expediting, panic ticket system)
  • May be required to handle hazardous material documentation, and international paperwork
  • Suggests improvements on activities, processes and tasks

Qualifications:

  • Generally 1-3 years of experience in area of responsibility
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • High School/ GED required
  • Assignments require basic knowledge of a technical or functional area
  • Rapid learning and application of new information and concepts within the functional area takes place
  • Ability to multitask, multi-functional, and a team player
  • Forklift certified and ability to operate machinery and power-tools
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and methods
  • User knowledge of Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Able to navigate through SAP
  • Valid Driver License is required

This position supports the Talent Acquisition strategy by working closely with internal recruiters to manage and execute full-cycle recruitment processes. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining recruiting workflows, supporting hiring needs, and ensuring candidates have a professional and seamless experience throughout the hiring process.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, and the flexibility to support recruiting efforts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities alongside internal recruiting teams
  • Coordinate and manage recruitment processes to ensure a strong candidate experience
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Schedule interviews and support hiring logistics across departments
  • Process, enter, and manage sensitive candidate information with strict confidentiality
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and hiring partners
  • Assist recruiters with sourcing, screening coordination, and hiring support as needed
  • Provide additional recruiting support during high-volume hiring periods

Work Environment and Schedule

  • On-site position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Juneau office location
  • Standard schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility based on business needs

STS Engineering Solutions is hiring a Technical Buyer in Denver, Colorado. This role supports aircraft material services by sourcing critical parts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring maintenance operations have what they need when they need it. Position Summary

The Technical Buyer is responsible for supporting the Maintenance organization with critical part requirements to fulfill variable demands that impact airline operations. This includes sourcing aircraft parts, initiating purchase orders, expediting existing orders, and coordinating logistics to meet both immediate and long-term operational needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor Maintenance organization requirements and initiate purchasing actions to obtain required materials and services
  • Locate and evaluate sources of supply for aviation materials and related goods and services
  • Select optimal suppliers based on a lowest total cost model
  • Recommend alternate sources of supply when appropriate
  • Communicate delivery timelines and updates to internal customers
  • Expedite shipments to meet Maintenance service commitments
  • Act as a liaison between Accounts Payable, Material Services, and suppliers to resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
  • Analyze purchasing activity to ensure service levels are achieved
  • Recommend and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to reduce cost and improve service levels
  • Report cost savings and procurement activity to management on a monthly basis
  • Survey internal customers to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
  • Support e-commerce initiatives to streamline procurement processes
  • Optimize technical inventory to minimize holding and acquisition costs while maintaining required service levels
  • Maintain familiarity with training requirements as defined in Section 100.03 Maintenance Training for Maintenance Organization Personnel and ensure compliance prior to performing job functions
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Materials Management

  • Has authority to cancel requisitions

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be available to work on site in Denver, Colorado
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business or equivalent experience required
  • Four years of technical purchasing experience preferred
  • Active participation in NAPM, APICS, or Institute for Supply Management preferred; certification is a plus
  • Strongly preferred experience using AMOS and or TRAX systems for aircraft materials tracking and management
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and web-based systems
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Able and willing to travel as required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or currently authorized to work in the United States. STSES does not sponsor work visas

  • Willingness to comply with non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality policies
