Job Summary:

Performs a combination of warehouse, shipping and/or receiving tasks, and inspection, as well as 5S Implementation and Coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic tasks in regards to the receiving process
  • Receive Intercompany PO’s
  • Perform the Volume and Manifest transactions
  • Research information pertaining to incoming shipments
  • Put away of parts to stock
  • Perform basic tasks in regards to the shipping process
  • Arrange delivery of parts offsite or customer pick up
  • Generate shipping documentation, including AWB (airway bill), invoice, SLI (Shippers Letters of Instructions) and other Manual shipments
  • Perform “Skip Lot” and UOM conversions
  • Domestic and International shipping
  • Perform basic tasks in warehouse organization and management
  • Analyze basic material movements to locate parts, serial number, and quantity change
  • Perform stock transfers and labeling, as well as parts packing and repacking when needed
  • Perform cycle counts and recounts
  • Return of stock material re-certified/repaired
  • May be required to handle shipping and receiving of hazardous material
  • Handles emergencies (such as no SAP, parts expediting, panic ticket system)
  • May be required to handle hazardous material documentation, and international paperwork
  • Suggests improvements on activities, processes and tasks

Qualifications:

  • High School/ GED required
  • FLSA Non-Exempt, Intermediate Level Service, Production or Support Worker role requiring basic skills to perform most of the standard tasks within the function.
  • Generally 1-3 years of experience in area of responsibility.
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Assignments require basic knowledge of a technical or functional area.
  • Rapid learning and application of new information and concepts within the functional area takes place.
  • Ability to multitask, multi-functional, and a team player.
  • Forklift certified and ability to operate machinery and power-tools
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and methods
  • User knowledge of Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Able to navigate through SAP
  •  Valid Driver License is required

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

  • Housekeeping duties and maintenance of clean work area (i.e. keep warehouse area clean and neat at all times).
  • Must be able to keep standards of productivity and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.

Position Overview

This senior operations leadership role is responsible for propellant and energetics manufacturing at RFAAP, overseeing approximately 700 employees across nitrocellulose, nitroglycerin, single, double, multi and solvent-based propellants, rocket grains and related production units.

Operating within a government-owned, contractor-operated plant, the Director of Production will lead safe, reliable and efficient execution of the Army’s production mission while meeting quantity, schedule, cost and quality requirements in support of U.S. national security.

Position Overview

The Director of Production provides day-to-day leadership for production operations and production engineering. This role drives continuous improvement, strengthens safety and quality performance and ensures process controls are fully implemented on the shop floor.

The Director reports to and works closely with the President and partners with leaders across Plant Support, Compliance, Growth and Modernization and Business Operations to support mission success.

Operations and Production Leadership

  • Lead all plant production operations for propellants and energetics across multiple product lines and value streams
  • Ensure safe, on-time and in-spec delivery to Army requirements
  • Provide day-to-day leadership for approximately 700 employees across multiple departments, shifts and a union workforce
  • Lead through a team of production and operations managers
  • Own production execution against the Integrated Master Schedule and production plans
  • Ensure capacity, staffing and equipment readiness to meet baseline and surge requirements
  • Direct Production Engineering to maintain and optimize manufacturing processes, line layouts, operating procedures and process controls
  • Improve throughput, yield and reliability across production operations

Safety, ESH&Q and Quality

  • Implement and enforce all ESH&Q requirements within production areas
  • Translate policies and standards into effective shop-floor practices and behaviors
  • Ensure strict adherence to explosives safety, process safety management and high-hazard operating procedures

Risk Management and Operational Readiness

  • Identify and manage operational risks related to safety, environmental performance, product quality, asset availability and workforce capability

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years of total experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
  • At least 8 years leading large-scale manufacturing operations, including multi-line, multi-shift or multi-site operations
  • Preferred experience within the defense supply chain, munitions, energetics or other high-hazard industrial environments
  • At least 5 years with direct responsibility for munitions or comparable hazardous chemical production processes
  • Experience with safety protocols and quality controls in high-hazard operations
  • Proven track record leading large organizations, typically more than 500 employees and more than 5 distinct products or product families
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading a union workforce

Technical and Operational Competence

STS Technical Services is hiring an Airline Program Analyst for a remote, long-term contract opportunity supporting operations for a major commercial airline. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical abilities, aviation or airline industry experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

This is a 100% remote opportunity supporting a fast-paced airline maintenance and supply chain environment.

Position Overview

The Airline Program Analyst will support program tracking, reporting, reconciliation, and operational analysis for a major airline operation. This role will monitor open part loan activity, reconcile vendor billing statements, coordinate with repair vendors, and provide regular updates to cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor and report daily on all open part loan activity
  • Reconcile open loans with repair vendors, ensuring system alignment and escalating discrepancies as needed
  • Review and reconcile vendor billing statements to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
  • Lead daily review meetings and follow up on outstanding action items
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve disputes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Partner with airline maintenance stations and vendors to ensure timely component returns
  • Prepare and provide regular status updates and reports to cross functional stakeholders
  • Support program tracking, reporting, and operational analysis for a major airline operation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related quantitative field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in airline, aviation, analytics, or related operational support required
  • Experience with TRAX and/or AMOS maintenance systems preferred
  • Project management and/or financial analysis experience required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced operational environment

STS Technical Services is hiring a Workday HRIS Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role will support an enterprise-wide Workday implementation and long-term HR systems strategy while working closely with HR, Payroll, IT, business stakeholders and implementation partners.

Position Overview

The Workday HRIS Analyst will support the full lifecycle of a Workday implementation, including deployment, testing, go-live and post-production optimization. This position requires prior hands-on Workday experience and the ability to contribute immediately in a fast-paced implementation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full lifecycle of the Workday implementation, including configuration, testing, validation and deployment activities
  • Partner with implementation consultants and internal stakeholders to design and optimize HR business processes
  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, reports, dashboards, calculated fields and security assignments
  • Support data conversion, data validation and ongoing data integrity efforts
  • Execute and coordinate testing activities
  • Troubleshoot Workday issues and collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and vendors to resolve them
  • Assist with release management, enhancements and post-go-live stabilization
  • Create documentation, training materials and end-user support resources
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and system optimization

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of HRIS experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Workday experience
  • Experience supporting or participating in a Workday implementation, optimization or administration environment
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, workflows and data structures
  • Experience with:
    • Workday reporting
    • Calculated fields
    • Business processes
    • Security administration
    • Testing/UAT
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT and external partners
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more Workday modules: Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence
  • Experience with EIBs, integrations or data conversion activities
  • Prior experience in a large-scale implementation environment
  • Experience supporting post-production enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft CASS Analysts in Jamaica, New York to support JetBlue’s Quality Assurance department by administering the Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS). In this role, you will manage data collection, reporting, and vendor compliance activities while ensuring adherence to FAA regulations and company standards. If you have strong analytical skills, aviation knowledge, and experience with QA systems, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support all business processes related to JetBlue’s CASS programs
  • Analyze surveillance data and generate detailed CASS reports
  • Make recommendations for escalations, de-escalations, and ongoing CASS activities based on trends and audit data
  • Maintain and update the Maintenance Provider Manual and Approved Vendor List (MPM/AVL)
  • Process vendor approval requests (MX-55s) from internal QA stakeholders
  • Manage vendor audit questionnaires and ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Maintain JetBlue’s QA electronic databases and hard copy audit files
  • Track and maintain audit statuses in the Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (CASE) database
  • Purge expired foreign repair station certificates and ensure vendor data is current
  • Conduct investigations and compile supporting data from internal and external systems
  • Generate periodic reports and data summaries to support the broader QA team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an analytical or quality assurance role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management systems
  • Experience working in aviation or a regulated technical environment
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of commercial aircraft systems
  • Familiarity with CASS processes and FAA regulations
  • Website development experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Previous experience with JetBlue systems and/or quality assurance in aviation
