Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, project management, or operations
  • Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems, project management tools, and Excel features such as tables, filters, and sorting
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or Epicor preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Verify the accuracy of work orders, drawings, and materials before components are released to welding
  • Coordinate with material handlers and inventory to ensure parts, fixtures, and consumables are available for welders

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work order status and communicate updates to leadership daily
  • Collaborate with fabrication, paint, and assembly departments to ensure smooth workflow throughout production

Requirements (What It Takes to Be Successful)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or welding coursework preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or welding environment
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, fabrication, and metalwork
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP system experience preferred)
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while supporting team goals
