Position Summary

Work will be performed on Boeing 737, Airbus A220 and Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Job Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Station Manager and Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technicians
  • Work in close partnership with field airlines, flight crews and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity in all maintenance work
  • Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results
  • Follow maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and determine repair or replacement needs
  • Perform additional duties as deemed necessary
  • Work outdoors and in inclement weather as required
  • Perform line maintenance on Boeing 737, Airbus A220 and Airbus A320 family aircraft

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with no history of infractions
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft considered a plus
  • Must own a set of standard line maintenance tools
  • Calibrated and specialty tooling will be provided
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work standing, climb ladders and stairs, and lift 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug and alcohol test
  • Must be able to obtain Customs and Border Protection clearance

This is a full-time aircraft maintenance leadership opportunity for an experienced A&P professional with strong line maintenance experience, proven management ability, excellent communication skills and the hands-on technical background needed to support daily station operations.

The A&P Line Station Manager will oversee maintenance activity, support technicians, coordinate staffing, manage station performance and ensure aircraft maintenance is performed safely, correctly and in accordance with company, customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary

  • Repairs, reworks, and modifies worn or defective assemblies, making alterations or changes to units when necessary.

  • Submits completed/in-progress work to Maintenance Lead for review; submits to Quality Assurance for final/in-progress inspection and re-certification of airworthiness.

  • Perform wire identification, harness fabrication, cable integrity checks, and connector assembly
  • Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components using hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Install electrical and electronic assemblies using appropriate tools
  • Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance issues
  • Set up and operate ground support and test equipment
  • Test components using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters
  • Troubleshoot, repair, rework, and modify worn or defective assemblies and systems

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current A&P License or FAA Repairman Certificate in Avionics required
  • FCC License preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of actual and recent depot-level aircraft avionics experience required
  • Experience repairing electrical systems, flight control systems, instrumentation, and wiring
  • Proficiency interpreting avionics and electrical wiring diagrams
  • Experience with wire identification, harness fabrication, cables, fittings, circuits, and connectors
  • Executive jet repair facility experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose operating errors and system malfunctions
  • Ability to install avionics and electrical systems to meet technical specifications
  • Proficiency repairing systems using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance tools and test equipment

Position Summary

Tank Tigers is seeking entry-level Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians, Class C, to support fuel tank maintenance operations at our Repair Station in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is designed for candidates with 0 to 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience who are ready to build hands-on technical skills in aviation fuel system maintenance.

The Class C Technician reports to the Facility Supervisor and / or Facility Manager and performs assigned preventive maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance data, customer requirements, and company procedures.

This position does not include management, supervisory, inspection, or return-to-service authorization duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned fuel tank maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals and approved maintenance data
  • Ensure completed or partially completed maintenance tasks are properly signed off
  • Perform maintenance operations in the appropriate sequence
  • Request inspections in an orderly and timely manner
  • Ensure maintenance activities are performed according to applicable maintenance data and customer requirements
  • Verify that test equipment and tools used for airworthiness determinations are properly labeled and current
  • Request stock as required for assigned work
  • Record completed work on the appropriate maintenance records
  • Complete additional required paperwork as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Remain familiar with applicable FAR Part 145 and Part 43 requirements
  • Maintain familiarity with the company Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and related revisions
  • Record OJT for assigned tasks
  • Immediately communicate unsafe procedures, practices, or habits to supervision when they may lead to injury, inefficiency, or unairworthy conditions
  • Work a flexible schedule as required
  • Work in small areas and confined spaces as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  • MRO experience preferred but not required
  • Must provide own tools
  • Ability to use company timekeeping systems and intranet tools
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet company priorities

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to crawl in and out of confined spaces
  • Ability to work in a prone position for extended periods exceeding four hours
  • Comfortable working at elevated heights of up to 40 feet
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in enclosed hangars and outdoor weather conditions
  • Comfortable working in close proximity to other personnel
