STS Technical Services is hiring experienced Builders / Finishers to support our manufacturing operations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. These are full-time positions available on both 1st and 2nd shifts.

We’re looking for dependable team players who show up on time, take pride in their craft, and bring a strong work ethic to every build.

What You’ll Do:

  • Interpret and build from blueprints and work instructions
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, finish, and assemble various components
  • Measure and align materials according to specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Experience using materials, methods, and tools common to the construction or manufacturing industry
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints

Weekend Paint Supervisor

Industrial Painters

STS Technical Services is hiring a Weekend Paint Supervisor to join our growing team in Milwaukee. This is a steady, full-time opportunity with a unique schedule: work four 10-hour days over the weekend, and choose one additional weekday to complete your 40-hour week. Overtime is available but never required.

We’re looking for someone who brings strong leadership, hands-on expertise, and a desire to build consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor production flow and resolve manufacturing issues quickly
  • Lead the paint team to ensure consistent output and quality standards
  • Apply 2-part polyurethane paint using a spray gun up to 65 PSI
  • Support automotive paint applications at 25–45 PSI (preferred)
  • Troubleshoot equipment and paint process issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform accurate measurements and calculations to meet customer specs
  • Work flexible hours when needed to support urgent production runs
  • Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance on the shop floor

What It Takes to Be Successful

  • 2+ years of polyurethane spray gun painting experience
  • Automotive or industrial painting experience preferred
  • Manufacturing background with problem-solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and keep the team on schedule
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass a competency test, spray test, physical, and drug screen
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
