 Shift:

  •  2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday 2:40 PM-12:40 AM

Position Overview:

The Mechanical Assembler position performs a limited number of assembly, test, and/or material handling functions as assigned within a department.  This position requires training and guidance to perform multiple tasks.

What You Will Do:

  • Takes the initiative to get work assignment from Supervisor, Lead person or scheduling tools.
  • As job assignment is obtained, gathers all necessary material and documentation to perform the task. This includes identifying the correct revision / date of documents and, if necessary, takes appropriate action to correct.
  • Follows work instructions, prints, and/or available procedures and performs assembly, test, and material handling operations required to make a part or final product.  The highest level of safety and quality standards are followed along with meeting productivity requirements.
  • Promotes and contributes to a team work environment.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and performs required housekeeping duties.
  • Assists other work areas or departments as needed.
  • Assists in cross training others.
  • With assistance, performs functions of multiple assembly stations within a focus factory.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to assemble and follow as specified sequence of events.
  • Must be able to safely perform assembly functions using hand, pneumatic and electric torque tools.
  • Must be able to safely unload components onto the assembly line or fixtures and use hand trucks to move components.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Proficient in the English Language.
  • Basic math skills / ability to do this job.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills/ability to do this job – including weld symbols.
  • Proficiency in using basic gauges and measuring instruments.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Physical ability to do the job.

The Warehouse B – Logistics position’s primary role is to receive finished goods from all vendors, verify, package, label, store, and issue all materials using a forklift, reach truck, order picker, and industrial carts according to department procedures.  This position also performs the activities of pick, pack, and processes customer part and machine orders in the system according to department procedures.

What You Will Do:

  • Gets work assignment from Supervisor, Lead person or scheduling tools.
  • Receives product from all vendors and follows department procedures to get them into stock.
  • Picks, packs & releases customer orders.
  • Picks orders with forklift, reach truck order pickers and carts.
  • Ensures inventory accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Ability & desire to work in a fast paced, organized, positive environment.
  • Performs housekeeping duties.
  • Assists other work areas or co-workers as needed.
  • Performs general daily maintenance activities.
  • Promotes safety, quality and productivity.

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools, scale, square, tape measure, and calipers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to do this job (lift up to 70lbs frequently)
  • Proficiency in basic computer functions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform bending motion from waist is required.
  • Ability to use repetitive hand and writing motion required.

Position Overview

The Weld Expeditor plays a critical role in coordinating, monitoring, and ensuring the timely flow of welded components through the fabrication process. Responsibilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Monitor daily weld shop schedules and track progress of welded components to ensure timely completion
  • Act as the primary point of contact between welders, supervisors, and production management to resolve bottlenecks and prioritize workload
  • Verify the accuracy of work orders, drawings, and materials before components are released to welding
  • Coordinate with material handlers and inventory to ensure parts, fixtures, and consumables are available for welders
  • Expedite rework or priority jobs as required to meet customer deadlines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work order status and communicate updates to leadership daily
  • Collaborate with fabrication, paint, and assembly departments to ensure smooth workflow throughout production

Requirements (What It Takes to Be Successful)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or welding coursework preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or welding environment
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, fabrication, and metalwork
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP system experience preferred)
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while supporting team goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive assignments from the Supervisor, Lead, or production scheduling tool
  • Follow work instructions and company procedures for assigned paint tasks
  • Assist in preparing parts for paint by cleaning, masking, sanding, or grinding
  • Load and unload parts onto overhead hooks or conveyors using manual handling or a bridge crane
  • Use air tools, pneumatic grinders, and other equipment to clean and prep surfaces
  • Apply touch-up paint and inspect painted parts for quality and finish
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with housekeeping duties
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Support other departments or work areas as needed

Essential Functions

  • Ability to lift, hang, and remove parts safely from paint line equipment
  • Comfortable working with compressed air tools and surface prep equipment
  • Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, bending, reaching, and standing for long periods
  • Must be able to wear required PPE (including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots with metatarsal covers, and a respirator if needed)
