Position Summary

STS Aviation Services is rapidly growing, and we are looking for experienced contractor B1 Aircraft Mechanics to be part of our journey as a leading UK MRO. Key Duties & Responsibilities

STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics in Newark, New Jersey, to support aircraft line maintenance operations at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

This opportunity is designed for experienced Aircraft Maintenance Professionals with a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification, Airbus A320 experience and at least two years of aircraft maintenance experience.

Position Summary

The Aviation Parts Runner reports directly to the Station Manager or Materials Manager, as applicable. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Aviation Parts Runner is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Transport aircraft parts, materials, tools, and related items from the materials warehouse to assigned maintenance technicians and/or aircraft
  • Retrieve serviceable and unserviceable aircraft parts, components, and materials from technicians and/or aircraft and return them to the warehouse for proper processing, inspection, and inventory control
  • Verify that all required documentation, tags, labels, certifications, and accompanying paperwork are complete, accurate, and properly attached to parts prior to delivery
  • Ensure unserviceable parts returned to the warehouse are accompanied by the appropriate maintenance documentation and discrepancy records
  • Coordinate and deliver Aircraft on Ground parts to outbound aircraft and verify proper transfer and loading by ground handling personnel
  • Retrieve Aircraft on Ground parts arriving on inbound aircraft and transport them to the warehouse or directly to the assigned technician or aircraft, as required
  • Maintain the security, accountability, and traceability of all parts and materials during transportation and handling
  • Ensure all transported parts and materials are properly secured within the vehicle to prevent damage, contamination, or loss
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner while complying with all company policies and applicable traffic regulations
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance with company standards and insurance requirements
  • Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, orderly, and serviceable condition

  • Previous experience in parts running, materials handling, warehouse support, logistics, inventory, shipping, receiving, aviation support, or a related field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with company standards and insurance requirements

Tank Tigers, an STS Aviation Group Company, is hiring an entry-level Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class C) in Wilmington, Ohio.

This position is designed for candidates with zero to two years of aviation fuel maintenance experience who are ready to build hands-on aircraft maintenance skills within a Part 145 repair station environment.

The Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician performs fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration tasks under appropriate direction using approved maintenance data and established company procedures.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class C) is an entry-level technical position reporting to the Facility Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.

Class C Technicians perform assigned aircraft fuel tank maintenance activities but are not assigned management, supervisory or inspection responsibilities. This position does not have authorization to approve maintained or altered articles for return to service and is not required to hold certification under 14 CFR Part 65.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned aircraft fuel tank maintenance tasks
  • Complete preventive maintenance and alteration work as directed
  • Follow applicable maintenance manuals and approved maintenance data
  • Ensure completed or partially completed maintenance work is properly signed off
  • Perform maintenance activities in the appropriate sequence
  • Request required inspections in an orderly and timely manner
  • Follow applicable customer requirements
  • Ensure test equipment and tools used for airworthiness determinations are properly labeled and current
  • Request stock and materials required for assigned work
  • Record completed work on the appropriate maintenance records
  • Complete required supporting paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Maintain awareness of applicable FAR Parts 43 and 145
  • Become familiar with the company Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
  • Maintain awareness of revisions to applicable company manuals
  • Record on-the-job training for assigned tasks
  • Immediately report procedures, practices or conditions that could lead to injury, inefficiency or unairworthy conditions
  • Follow all established safety, quality and maintenance procedures

Qualifications

  • Entry-level position requiring zero to two years of aviation fuel maintenance experience
  • Ability to learn and perform aircraft fuel system maintenance with training
  • Basic knowledge, experience and/or training needed to perform assigned maintenance tasks
  • Mechanical experience preferred
  • Ability to follow maintenance manuals and technical instructions
  • Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to work in small areas and confined spaces

Certification Requirements

FAA certification under 14 CFR Part 65 is not required for this Class C Technician position.

This role does not include management, supervisory or inspection authority and does not authorize the employee to sign a maintenance release approving an article for return to service.

The A&P Maintenance Technician will inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain transport-category aircraft while working closely with airline partners, flight crews and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.

This position is designed for a licensed aviation maintenance professional who can work independently, adapt to changing operational needs and maintain high standards for safety, quality and customer service.

Position Overview

The A&P Mechanic supports the daily maintenance needs of STS Line Maintenance customers while helping ensure aircraft remain safe, compliant and operational.

This role reports directly to the Station Manager and performs aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and approved technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with airline personnel, flight crews and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained according to applicable airworthiness standards
  • Follow airworthiness directives, company policies and maintenance best practices
  • Inspect transport-category aircraft airframes and engines
  • Test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair aircraft systems
  • Use hand tools and test equipment to complete maintenance activities
  • Analyze test results to identify defective or damaged components
  • Adjust, repair or replace components as required
  • Follow aircraft maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation
  • Use precision instruments to inspect parts for wear
  • Determine when components require repair or replacement
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic aircraft systems
  • Maintain high standards for quality and integrity
  • Perform additional duties as required
  • Work outdoors and in inclement weather when necessary

  • Experience working with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
