In this role, you will be responsible for engineering data, instructions, documents, and technical support that ensure the safety, airworthiness, and reliability of aircraft. This includes ATA chapters 22, 23, 24, 31, 33, 34, 45, 46, 47, and 77.

This position requires both technical expertise and business acumen to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions in line with budgetary and regulatory constraints.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Provide guidance to the Aircraft Avionics Engineering Manager and stakeholders regarding avionics safety, airworthiness, and reliability.
  • Create Engineering Orders and technical documents to support operations and return aircraft to service safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and/or obtain approved data, acceptable data, and Alternate Methods of Compliance (AMOCs) for repairs, alterations, and modifications.
  • Support AOG events with action plans to troubleshoot and repair anomalies in the assigned ATA chapters.
  • Maintain and update technical source documents (AMMs, WDMs, FIMs, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
  • Support integration and phase-in of new and previously operated aircraft.
  • Liaise with OEMs, MROs, regulatory personnel, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in working groups, steering committees, industry meetings, and conferences.
  • Review work performed by contractors, consultants, and MRO engineers.

Key Objectives (Reliability)

  • Conduct fleet reliability analysis for systems and components under respective ATA codes.
  • Evaluate FARs, NPRMs, ADs, SBs, SLs, and other industry notifications.
  • Analyze trends and provide product improvement recommendations based on KPIs such as Delays, ATBs, BTBs, PIREPs, MIREPs, and MTBURs.

Key Objectives (Skills)

  • Collaborate with OEMs on emerging issues to ensure safety while managing economic impact.
  • Create and deliver avionics engineering documentation for modifications and repairs within time and budget constraints.
  • Establish repair and build specifications that enhance dispatch reliability.
  • Provide technical support to Technical Operations, Ground Operations, and Flight Operations.
  • Work with other Engineering staff to provide 24/7 technical support.
  • Review aircraft maintenance and inspection programs, initiating changes as necessary.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering OR 12–15 years of combined airline, MRO, or OEM experience (with 7–9 years in applied or design engineering).
  • FAA A&P and/or FCC License preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
  • Experience with engineering software/reporting tools such as Inform (iDMR), Autodesk, Tableau, TRAX, MBF, or Adobe (preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of transport category aircraft avionics systems and components.

Position Summary

The Principal Engineer reports to the Manager of Powerplant Engineering and is responsible for the engineering data, instructions, documents, and technical support that economically ensure the safety and reliability of aircraft within the following ATA chapter subjects: 24, 26, 30, 36, 49, and 70–80.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Project development, management, and implementation for repairs, modifications, or alterations
  • Serve as the technical point of contact on assigned subject matter for troubleshooting assistance
  • Issue instructions and documents to support operations and return aircraft to service in a safe and timely manner
  • Review OEM Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRMs) for implementation, initiating required engineering documentation as needed
  • Provide support on investigations for safety, regulatory, and reliability matters
  • Monitor fleet performance and initiate corrective actions and improvements to maintain fleet health
  • Liaise with manufacturers, maintenance representatives, MRO facilities, outside engineering departments, regulatory personnel, and other agencies
  • Establish component repair and build specifications to enhance dispatch reliability in accordance with budgetary and regulatory requirements
  • Manage cross-functional and cross-departmental projects within technical subject scope
  • Administer the Engine Condition Monitoring Program
  • Review the powerplant portion of the Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection Program and initiate program changes or updates to maintenance documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or other technical equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 years of Airline, OEM, or MRO experience
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license preferred
  • Proficiency in technical analysis and working knowledge of FAA regulations and certification requirements
  • Expert knowledge of commercial turbine jet engine technical details or airline M&E systems including TRAX and airline processes
  • Ability to execute assigned tasks including EOs, troubleshooting, manual oversight, and vendor communications
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to mentor and train other engineers

Position Overview

The Materials Buyer II manages an expenditure base of $12 to $15 million per year for materials to support company purchasing programs. This role is responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with company requirements for both direct and indirect production materials. The position also ensures timely planning and scheduling of receipt and inventory control, consistent with company policies and production schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initiate and maintain purchase orders and amendments for materials and services
  • Maintain close coordination with operations planning to ensure timely receipt and inventory management
  • Ensure accuracy of purchase order information and resolve or coordinate technical questions with suppliers
  • Secure and analyze quotations when required, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, and research potential vendors for cost, quality, delivery, and certifications (ISO, AS9100, NADCAP, etc.)
  • Study market prices, trends, engineering developments, and manufacturing method improvements relevant to assigned responsibilities
  • Advise company activities with concurrence of the Purchasing Manager
  • Interview and confer with current and prospective suppliers to determine supply capabilities, transportation coordination, and inventory management
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with guidance from the Purchasing Manager
  • Coordinate planning of schedules and inventory control parameters consistent with MRP requirements or requisitioners’ needs
  • Coordinate quality matters and engineering changes between customer requirements and suppliers
  • Resolve nonconforming material conflicts with suppliers, including credit and debit negotiations
  • Perform other duties as needed

Skills and Competencies

  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional phone skills to foster and maintain supplier relationships
  • Familiarity with MRP processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and a working understanding of machining
  • Understanding of purchasing functions related to industrial manufacturing and materials used in machined goods

Position Summary:

The Lead A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of the maintenance operations for our customers and ensures an outstanding experience by providing top-level service.

  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required.

  • Able to work outdoors and in inclement weather as required.
  • Work will be performed on various Commercial and Large Regional aircraft, including but not limited to the Airbus A320,737, A300, A330, CRJ, and Embraer 170.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certifications (A&P) with no history of infractions.
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft considered a plus.
  • Previous Experience working on the Boeing 737 or Airbus A300, A320, A330 or A220 is desired, but is not required
  • Gen Fams on the 737, A300, A320, A330 or A220 will get you a HIGHER PAY RATE !!
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling will be provided).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude while being able to perform your job with minimal supervision.
  • With or without accommodations, employees must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs and must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to pass background check as well as drug & alcohol test. In addition, he / she must be able to obtain customs & border patrol clearance.
  • Must have basic-to-mid-level computer & organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan work inputs in line with the capacity plan
  • Create work packs and ensure tooling and materials are preloaded
  • Liaise with Workshop Management on labour and skill availability to balance workload
  • Support updates to the Capacity Plan
  • Review completed work packs
  • Communicate with the commercial department regarding inputs
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by the Management Team

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of Production / Maintenance planning (desirable)
  • Aviation experience (essential)
  • Knowledge of controlling authorities for manpower planning (CAA, FAA, EASA)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to remain calm in a busy work environment
  • Strong organisational skills

STS Aviation Group is hiring an Accounting Supervisor in Jensen Beach, Florida. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and is eager to make an impact on a growing global organization.

Position Summary

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and performing general accounting functions within our shared services organization. Duties include preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audits, and supporting system improvements.

We are looking for someone with strong GAAP knowledge, excellent financial analysis skills, and the ability to serve as a change agent within the department. A successful candidate will also be a self-starter who is highly organized, team oriented, and comfortable working independently under tight deadlines.

General Responsibilities

  • Obtain and manage a thorough understanding of the trial balance and general ledger for multiple entities
  • Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Manage the general ledger and provide financial statement analysis
  • Demonstrate an understanding of complex business transactions, their coding and purpose, and how changes in business transactions impact the general ledger
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts with multi-currency transactions
  • Ensure proper procedures are adhered to in accordance with company policy and GAAP
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as needed
  • Manage state sales and business tax reporting
  • Assist with annual audit and budget preparations
  • Work in a team environment to deliver on company initiatives
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to junior staff
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to improve systems and efficiencies
  • Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned

Educational Background & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • CPA designation or equivalent experience
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Staffing industry or Shared Services experience a plus

General Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 5–7 years of general accounting experience required
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Proficiency with multi-entity subledger accounting systems
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedule workload effectively
  • High level attention to detail
  • Experience with international foreign currency translations a plus
